Good for work around home and small trees.Use a gas chainsaw for large trees and use the Greenworks for limbs and branches.

This is my second chainsaw from Greenworks - The fist saw I had 2 problems with #1) the saw would leek oil, when I asked about this they told me I was to remove all of the oil when not in use - very impractical ! #2) the screw / gear to tighen the chain was misformed and would not move - Finally Greenworks replaced my old saw with a new one, I truly apricated that but soon after my saw was stolen from my yard
I baught a new saw and noticed some great improvments, hopfully the oil wont leek, the screws to the chain cover stay on cover when opened, the wrench is now separte and dosent slide out of the handel, I used my new saw for the past 2 days cutting 3 piles of debris for bulk trash and it cut through everything like it was BUTTER!

Amazing to not have to worry about pull starting an engine that has sat for a year. Starts with a squeeze and cuts like a dream. Very impressed with a battery powered chainsaw, I was skeptical at first but was very surprised. The only thing i would do was have a bigger AH battery. I have a 5AH battery from my blower so I used that. You will definitely need another battery if you plan to cut into a bigger tree.

I now have the Greenworks 60 volt weedeater, blower, hedge trimmer and chainsaw. They are all quality build, easy to setup & use. Great set of tools. I have not used the chainsaw yet, but slipped the battery in and fired it up. The other tools all get 5 stars and after using the chainsaw I expect the same, but since I haven't actually used it to saw, I got to go 4 stars until tested. Nothing like not having to mess with gas & oil, instant start and all the power you need.

My partner and I have a roughly two-acre wooded lot with mixed pine, mostly lodgepole and ponderosa. I’ve used gas-powered chainsaws in the past, but didn’t like the hassle of mixing gas and oil, the noise, and the hard starting. Before purchasing my Greenworks Pro 60V 16-inch bar chainsaw, I was fortunate to be able to borrow 24V 14-inch bar and 80V 18-inch bar Greenworks saws from two friends. The knowledge I gained from using these two saws on general cleanup around the property led me to the Pro 60V 16-inch saw as the perfectly sized saw for my needs. The unit arrived well-packaged with everything needed to get started, including a small bottle of chain oil. The instruction manuals were easy to follow. The saw is super easy to operate and convenient to use. This saw has completely replaced the gas-powered saws in my tool shed! I produced a video review of the unboxing and a demo of the new saw on a 12-inch lodgepole that had recently blown down on the property.
