This tool is flat out Fantastic. No more gas and it has plenty of power. Take your finger off the trigger and it stops. This is the perfect saw for clearing the limbs off of a fallen tree . No more pull start . Everyone knows how hard it can be be to try and start a gas powered repeatedly. You will be happy with this purchase. I do have 3 total 2.5 amp batteries now and that makes it nice . I will show pictures of what I

Works ok. Maybw it needs the bigger battery.. idk. I use it around the sawmill cutting limbs and knots. Sometimes it will just stop midway thru a cut. I have to let off the trigger for a minute then resume. It could be better.

I tested this side by side with my gas 16” McXXXXX, and it outperformed the gas. The saw also cut all day on one charge. A must have for the weekend user and no dealing with gas containers, carburetor, spark plug etc

I really like my new chainsaw. I only occasionally need a chainsaw to cut up fallen branches, so it’s hard to keep fresh gas for a 2 cycle chainsaw. With my new Greenworks chainsaw I don’t have to worry about that. It only took me a couple of minutes to cut up a big branch. Love it!

I owned a 40v Black & Decker chainsaw that was worthy of five stars. I donated all of my B&D 40v tools to my daughter and son-in-law once I got the Greenworks lawn mower. This chainsaw blows the B&D away. 60v versus 40v -- I get it. What surprised me, though, was how easy this chainsaw is to add oil and how easy it was to adjust the blade and the chain. For a non-DIYer like me, this is an extra blessing.

First impressions of my Pro 60V 16" Chainsaw

Love the chainsaw, but will need to upgrade the battery for longer continuous cutting life. This is my first battery powered chainsaw and thus far (one month and several big jobs in) I’m quite impressed with quick delivery and design, function and durability of the saw.
It would warrant 5 stars but for the 2.5 ah battery paired with this chainsaw, which has proven to have too limited a use-per-charge for my first several jobs, which included cutting down several 8-12” trees over several days. Exacerbating the matter, my work was a good distance from the nearest charger outlet, and the battery typically required 20-30 minutes of cool down time (in 30-40 degree weather) before the charger would allow charging. If I had it do do over again I should have upgraded to the 5 or 6ah battery, or invested in two 4ah or higher batteries from the start. I’ve learned my lesson, and now realize a greater investment in battery power will be called for with future cordless lawn and garden tools. I do have confidence in Greenworks, and I hope to benefit from building my 60v tool inventory in the future.

Plenty of cutting power

I had a large ash tree taken down and now I'm cutting it up. This saw cut through 20 inch logs smoothly and quickly. Saw is heavy but balance is good. Cutting time is short though on a 5.0 battery.
