During a recent storm several limbs fell on my shed roof. I needed to climb up and down an extension ladder walk out on the roof to cut away the debris. The green works saw being lighter and having a chain lock for safety made the job much easier and safer.

This is probably one of the best purchases I've ever made. Bought it to clear brush and trim trees for my neighbor and it paid for itself. Cut up oak tree with little effort. Battery lasts about 1 hour. Sick of trying to start gas chain saw. Does not leak any oil even hung from handle as some posts have stated. There was some effort taken to find one in stock to purchase. Glad I waited to buy one.

I’ve used my chainsaw to cut several cords of wood! A battery will last as long as me! It is light and very easy to use! That was featured I needed - I am 69 years old and can handle it with ease!

Wasn't sure what to expect. At this early stage and multiple uses, I can't find any short comings. I own an electric and two gas powered chainsaws and this is my favorite. Overall convenience is GREAT.

I live in the woods and use this saw to cut down and cut up decent sized trees. The power has been good and the saw has more stamina than me. Super happy and pleased with my choice.

Awesome chain saw. Definitely made a believer out of me that battery can replace gas for this tool! My only two issues: the chain gets loose quickly (easy to adjust with the included tool) and the 2.5 Ah battery is a little small if you are doing a lot of cutting. Fortunately, I also have a Greenworks mower, so I just stuck that battery in the saw for extra work time.

Great alternative to gas, especially for smaller trees/limbs. Only downside is that the chain tensioner screw is in a bad spot and it's a slot-head. The combination of these things make it tough to adjust. Otherwise a good saw.
