Perfect for the homeowner. Lighter and quieter than my previous gas chainsaw. I have two batteries so it’s very easy to switch them out and continue working. Wished I done this a couple of years ago.

It’s surprising how easy it is to start. Runs like nobodies business and really gets the job done. I really like the fact that when you stop, the blade stops instantly. I have a spare battery, now all I need is a spare chain. Awesome little chainsaw!

Design needs some work

Received this saw, 16" 60 volts@2aHr, as a Christmas present in 2019. I was skeptical about using a battery powered device but it was a gift. I didn't get the opportunity to use it until the fall of 2020 and I was pleasantly surprised by the saw's performance. It cuts well and has adequate performance for a small saw, as good as my smaller gas powered saws. However, the chain bar bends easily and then takes a "set" causing crooked cutting. Also, the chain bar seems to wear quickly. I suggest the bar be looked at from a material standpoint, possibly a different steel alloy with a little more spring in the material. I have used the saw for about 10 battery charges and now I have to try and straighten the bar.

Awesome chainsaw

I had a tree fall in my front yard last winter during the snow. I bought this chainsaw after reading reviews online. I am beyond happy with this purchase. This chainsaw was able to take care of the fallen tree with no problems. This was the very first Greenworks purchase I had made. This product was the first of my conversion from gas powered equipment. Since then I have bought the Greenworks 21 inch 60V mower and the 60V Hedge Trimmer as well. I am now looking to buy the 60V backpack Leaf Blower for my Christmas gift to myself this year. Greenworks has been a great brand for me and I plan on converting all my power equipment to Greenworks moving forward. 5 Star Products for sure.
