I borrowed an older gas-powered chainsaw for some light-medium duty work. 6-8in logs. It pooped out, overheated and stalled. This 16" has serious instant torque and with brand new teeth, it tore through the rest of my job. A little too fast, I finished before I was done having fun. I was looking around for other things to cut. It has great balance and is comfortable to hold. I have the Pro 60V lawnmower and both batteries (5.0 and 2.5) work for both tools. Great to keep it in the Pro 60V family!!!!! Highly recommend getting one. My wife says "this is not a toy." Maybe she is right... tehe...
Just received the chainsaw, 2.5ah battery and charger. Love the saw but the 2.5ah battery really limits the amount of work you can get done. Would have preferred that a 4 or 5ah battery came with the saw to make it far more useful for a longer period of time. I know the higher ah battery would cost more but it would be worth the extra cost given how quickly the 2.5ah battery runs out of juice.
Very easy and convenient to use! Just slip in a charged battery, push a button and you’re all set. I am a 60-year old woman with many GreenWorks tools that have made my 3-acre yard a breeze! Thank you GreenWorks!
Used my new 60v chainsaw today and it worked great.no problems. Uses a good bit of bar and chain oil as it should and it came with some ..do yourself a favor and buy an extra quart before you start. happy customer here
