Easy to use but low battery life

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just started using this product this weekend to hack down some taller stumps in my backyard. It was effective on them, but the battery life left something to be desired; I tried taking down 3 stumps with it and had to charge it twice in the process. Overall, it was lightweight and easy to use, however.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This chainsaw worked great for what I needed it for. We have some tree branches (large and small) that have fallen in a few storms. I was able to charge and use this chainsaw to cut those in to smaller pieces for firewood. I am not sure that it would last long if I had to do any larger/thicker pieces, but it worked perfect for what I will need it for.

Powerful for being cordless and GREEN

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pretty easy for a woman to use however you need to obtain and fill up the oil first. I was amazed that I could start it right up without any hesitation. Although I have never used a chainsaw I found this one to be Uber user friendly. The only real problem I encountered was the battery was to hit to put on the charger when it needed a charge, so I had to let it cool down first then put it on the charger. Apart from the heat from the battery the only other thing was the chain got very loose after a few minutes of use but there was a handy chain adjusting tool that was included with the saw so it was again a very simple fix. I would recommend this tool to anyone who has a use for it male or female. The last point of positivity I will mention is that the battery works with 40 other tools so it is definitely a model of efficiency.

Great chainsaw

I trimmed my bush because it was too high and this chainsaw did the job. It’s very easy to use and very easy to maneuver. I really like that it’s lightweight because I can easily lift it to trim my bushes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this chain saw. Yesterday I made about 18 cuts on mostly larger sized oak and other trees. I am impressed with the power and simplicity of this saw. I really like how it is not too loud and is silent between cuts. After the cuts I made there was still half of the battery charge left and it recharged in about 30 minutes. Overall, way better than the plugged in and gas saws I’ve used recently.

Chews Through Wood Like Butter

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Greenworks Pro 16 in. Cordless Chainsaw is a power packed battery operated chainsaw that is great for many different jobs. I needed a chainsaw for light duty tasks around the tasks, such a cutting down smaller trees and limbs. This chainsaw doesn't hesitate a beat!
The fact that this chainsaw doesn't use gas makes it so much more convenient and easier to use. All you need is oil and the charged battery and she's ready to go. The battery takes about an hour to charge up and then you get a lot of use out of it before having to recharge it. It hasn't died on me yet, and when I'm done I charge up the battery for next time. If I ever needed to do a longer job I could just get another battery so I could work continuously. The best part is that since there is no gas, that also means there is no pullcord. All this chainsaw needs is the push of a button and she fires right up.
I was hesitant that it wouldn't be as powerful as gas chainsaw but I was definitely wrong. This chainsaw packs a nice punch and is more than powerful enough to get most jobs done easily. It chews to wood like butter which is the most important aspect of any chainsaw. With all of this being said, I could not be happier with the Greenworks Pro 16in. Cordless Chainsaw.

Great, Powerful Chainsaw

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This chainsaw is great. It's pretty powerful for its size and does its job. It's lightweight, very easy to operate and durable. I wish it came with an owner manual and an extra battery, however it does charge pretty quick. I used this to cut down branches and wood. It's got a good power for a chainsaw this small. I like it.

Powerful quiet chainsaw

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a surprisingly powerful chainsaw. The battery is light weight and holds charge for about 2 hours if you're using it constantly. It is easy to use. Love that it is cordless. The entire thing is not very heavy and it is amazing how quiet it is for a chainsaw. Great tool!
