[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this chain saw. Yesterday I made about 18 cuts on mostly larger sized oak and other trees. I am impressed with the power and simplicity of this saw. I really like how it is not too loud and is silent between cuts. After the cuts I made there was still half of the battery charge left and it recharged in about 30 minutes. Overall, way better than the plugged in and gas saws I’ve used recently.

Chews Through Wood Like Butter

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Greenworks Pro 16 in. Cordless Chainsaw is a power packed battery operated chainsaw that is great for many different jobs. I needed a chainsaw for light duty tasks around the tasks, such a cutting down smaller trees and limbs. This chainsaw doesn't hesitate a beat!
The fact that this chainsaw doesn't use gas makes it so much more convenient and easier to use. All you need is oil and the charged battery and she's ready to go. The battery takes about an hour to charge up and then you get a lot of use out of it before having to recharge it. It hasn't died on me yet, and when I'm done I charge up the battery for next time. If I ever needed to do a longer job I could just get another battery so I could work continuously. The best part is that since there is no gas, that also means there is no pullcord. All this chainsaw needs is the push of a button and she fires right up.
I was hesitant that it wouldn't be as powerful as gas chainsaw but I was definitely wrong. This chainsaw packs a nice punch and is more than powerful enough to get most jobs done easily. It chews to wood like butter which is the most important aspect of any chainsaw. With all of this being said, I could not be happier with the Greenworks Pro 16in. Cordless Chainsaw.

Great, Powerful Chainsaw

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This chainsaw is great. It's pretty powerful for its size and does its job. It's lightweight, very easy to operate and durable. I wish it came with an owner manual and an extra battery, however it does charge pretty quick. I used this to cut down branches and wood. It's got a good power for a chainsaw this small. I like it.

Powerful quiet chainsaw

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a surprisingly powerful chainsaw. The battery is light weight and holds charge for about 2 hours if you're using it constantly. It is easy to use. Love that it is cordless. The entire thing is not very heavy and it is amazing how quiet it is for a chainsaw. Great tool!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We got this to help clear debris from storms. Easy to use, not too heavy. The only thing is that the battery only lasts for a short time so if there is a lot of stuff to cut, this wont do the job. But if all you are looking to do is cut a couple of logs/tree limbs, its perfect.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a solid chainsaw. Super easy to use. It comes with 2.0 AH HC battery and charger. It took about 60 minutes for my battery to charge. It did an awesome job cutting. Its not too heavy and its easy to handle.

Way Better than expected

I was skeptical that it wasn't gonna be powerful since I had never had an electric chainsaw be for but boy was I wrong, this thing is really powerful! It cuts thru tree limbs super smoothly with no grabbing and it is lightweight enough that I can get up I the tree with it myself. I would totally reccomended for anyone that does yardwork or cuts wood on a regular basis. It does require oil which I had to go buy, but no big deal

Really great for small jobs

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great tool for a homeowner. It's easy to use, and not intimidating like a gas powered saw. No mixing gas and struggling with a pull start. It has double safety features with the chain break needing to be pulled back while in use. The blade doesn’t coast after you let off the trigger and that feels a lot safer than its gas counterpart. The only downside is that it lacks the torque to make aggressive cuts and the battery lasts just long enough to tackle only small projects.
