Works great right out of the box

Bought this to take care of small limbs on our property. Love that the only thing needed is chain oil. Pull the trigger and you're cutting. Works great.

Perfect for me

I admit I'm not good with gas engines. I hate all the work to make them run. I lack the strength to pull the cord while holding the machine in the other hand and I'm afraid of the power they have to be honest. They are so strong and can hurt you so quickly. The battery chainsaw is a God send. I can now trim large branches that fall from the trees to make removing them easier. I can prune low hanging branches that interfere when I mow. I can make short work of trimming of larger limbs in the orchard. It's super easy to use and today I put a chain back on without help so I'm huffed! I am woman hear me roar!

Better then Gas!

Bought this saw a few months ago. I have purchased severa electric yard tools over the years but decided to go all out with Greenworks. Wow! Awesome products, service and price! The saw is worth every penny. Have been clearing trees on our farm all spring. This tool has POWER! Cutting hard wood like butter. No worrying about mixing gas. Just slap a new battery in. Depending on battery size, it will be more then enough to get the job done. If not the chargers work super fast and will keep you working through the day without downtime. The clear bar oil window helps make sure I keep the chain oiled, which is the only maintenance other then the chain. Best part is the chain tensioner. Super easy to use and also comes with the multi tool, which stores on the handle for when you need it. Absolutely recommend the product and Greenworks. I have the 60v snowblower, saw, trimmer, leaf blower, mower and pole saw. Batteries are all interchangeable if the same voltage! Just buy it already!

It seems to be better built than the other brands I looked at. It works fine for trimming branches in my yard and cutting firewood while out camping. I’m hoping long term it continues to remain a reliable tool.

Tried out my new chainsaw over the weekend and it cut pretty decent except the battery didn't last as long as I was expecting which was a little disappointing.

Easy to use

My mother who is 76 bought this chainsaw a year ago and loves it. I just recently purchased the 16" chainsaw to use around the farm to clear fence rows and dead trees, I real like this chainsaw, it's light, no cord to pull when starting and cuts though large trees with no problem.

For what we needed a chainsaw to do, this one was perfect. Living in a neighborhood and trying to gather firewood for the winter, sometimes coming across logs a bit too long, this chainsaw does the job easy of cutting them shorter. Easy start, easy to handle.
