Thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear about the experience you have encountered with your battery/charger. Here are a few troubleshooting suggestions to check out.
1) When the battery is inserted, the light should begin flashing green to indicate the battery is charging. If this light is not igniting or is flashing red, this may indicate an issue and we would be interested in hearing more about this. If the light simply goes solid red, try removing the battery and unplugging the charger for about 10 minutes and place them both indoors in a room temperature setting, as this might indicate the battery is at the incorrect temperature to be charged.
2) Ensure that the battery has been fully inserted into the charger. Sometimes this requires a firm push into place to make sure that it has been properly seated.
3) Try resetting the charger. To do this, simply unplug it for approximately 10 minutes and then plug it back in and try reinserting the battery. If the charger has been plugged in for extended periods of time, this can sometimes cause the charger to malfunction.

Each setting is ideal for different uses. The first is ideal for light-duty work, the second is for medium-duty work and finally the third is for heavy-duty larger-sized bolts. The RPM of this unit is 0-2800 and the IPM is 0-4000. Torque is constant at 540ft/lbs. (400N.m.). This unit will be strong enough for lug nuts.
