[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the battery about a month ago and it no longer charges.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hello Deat. We are sorry to hear about the experience you have encountered with your batteries. The overall battery life is dependent on many factors such as where they have been stored, charged, and handled. There are many possible scenarios that can affect the lifespan of a battery. In ideal conditions the battery has a charge and discharge cycle of up to 2000. Here are a few troubleshooting suggestions to check out. 1) When the battery is inserted, the light should begin flashing green to indicate the battery is charging. If this light is not igniting or is flashing red, this may indicate an issue and we would be interested in hearing more about this. If the light simply goes solid red, try removing the battery and unplugging the charger for about 10 minutes and place them both indoors in a room temperature setting, as this might indicate the battery is at the incorrect temperature to be charged. 2) Ensure that the battery has been fully inserted into the charger. Sometimes this requires a firm push into place to make sure that it has been properly seated. 3) Try resetting the charger. To do this, simply unplug it for approximately 10 minutes and then plug it back in and try reinserting the battery. If the charger has been plugged in for extended periods of time, this can sometimes cause the charger to malfunction. If this light is not igniting this may indicate an issue and we would be interested in hearing more about this. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This vacuum replaced a Dyson stick that was advertised to handle pets. The Dyson would clog within a minute or two. This vacuum works much better to pick up the pet hair and it is compatible with the Greenworks batteries we have for other uses. The vacuum does clog and will frequently only work on the lower power. So I do need to frequently clean it out. But not nearly as frequently as the previous Dyson.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm someone who enjoys working on cars, so I perform my own regular car maintenance. In the past, I've used scissor jacks, floor jacks, and bottle jacks. I stumbled onto the various versions of 12v plug-in jacks while exploring power jack options, which led me to discovering Greenworks and this battery powered, motor driven, hydraulic jack. Since I rotate my tires, I decided to buy two of these. Now I'm able to raise my car with ease. Using these jacks has cut my labor time in half! I love the small size, large handle, and sturdiness. I believe that this jack will serve me well for years of home use, and I plan to keep one in my car for emergencies. Make sure to understand the proper usage and limitations of this jack, as it's best suited to cars under 6000lbs. Max lift fully extended is 2200lbs.
