Greenworks 24V batteries and tools recall on CPSC

I saw a Greenworks recall on CPSC, will this have the same issue of recalled batteries? These tools look similar and can be charged directly on the tool, just like the ones from the recall. How can these batteries/tools still be safe and for sale?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The recall you are referencing applies only to specific Kobalt-branded 24V and 48V batteries equipped with a USB-C charging feature. Not all 24V batteries or tools are affected. While some Greenworks and Kobalt products may appear similar, products that are not included in the recall have not been identified as having the issue that prompted the recall and therefore remain approved for sale and use.

Batteries fail in less than three years

I've had this vacuum almost three years. It does work well on the shortest run time. But 18 minutes isn't enough to do a full house. Both my batteries failed before 3 years was up. They did replace them, but that means my new batteries probably won't last that long. In addition, the batteries will overheat while using the vacuum and then they won't charge till they cool off. They don't always last the full nine minutes opn high. When they failed, they refused to charge beyond 50% and a warning symbol came up on the charger. I wouldn't buy it again.
Pros: Convenient, Easy to Use
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Surprisingly really Cool

this was gifted to me and I was a bit skeptical, turns out this is actually a really cool DIY drill . all the power you could need and want for small home jobs. and the battery is really cool. the fact I can use it to not only power my tools but I can use it to recharge my phone or laptop!!!! mind blown!!! on top of all that the price for the other tools in this line are surprisingly affordable. I will most defiantly be looking into more Greenworks products for my home.

The batteries fit and the mower runs, but the run time is very short. Not real happy about that. These batteries were your resolution to the problem I had with the other batteries I had ordered

Good suction and weight, not much louder than a mattress inflator. Only complaint is that the dust cup is not very big so it has to be emptied often over a 10-minute period
