Clears Snow

This does a great job clearing the snow but is made for someone 5 feet tall. Desperately need to be able to extend it for someone that is 6 ft +.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

In the meantime, adjusting the handle can provide a better balance between the battery and the base. To adjust the balance of the unit, loosen the screws to move the auxiliary handle up and down the shaft till you are comfortable.

We clear a LOT of show with a plow and gas powered blower and got this for the walkways, but will be picking up another one for my daughter's 2-car driveway.

Good but could use some changes

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We finally got snow so I was able to use this for the first time. We ended up with around 8 inches. The shovel throws the snow a pretty far distance. A problem with it is you can't control the angel. It only goes straight forward. It would be nice if you could throw it to the left or right without having to turn the machine that way. What I didn't like was holding down the power switch. It would be great if there was an option to lock the trigger in place for continuous power. It would probably use up the battery faster but would make it much easier. I found myself switching hands quite often once my finger got tired of holding the power button down. The shovel is a bit heavy. With all the snow we got I had to do
the top layer then work my way down. It doesn't work well for the 8 inches we
got. It does work great to clear up to 4 inches. Had a blast watching how far it actually threw it.

This unit provides a clearing depth of 6-inch, perfect for light to moderate snow conditions. The depth and weight of the snow will determine the forward speed. We suggest directing the snow in front or to either side by pushing the snow shovel forward so that it rides on the scraper. While the unit is not equipped with a chute; it is a light duty electric snow shovel for walkways, driveways and patios.
Lastly, adjusting the handle can provide a better balance between the battery and the base. To adjust the balance of the unit, loosen the screws to move the auxiliary handle up and down the shaft till you are comfortable.

It is everything I hope it would be. It blows snow and I wish I knew about it before we got 30 inches of snow in Feb. I would recommend it to anyone who needs a battery power tool.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had this snow shovel now for a few weeks and we finally got some light snow so I gave it a shot. I performed well and cleared a path. As I stated it was light snow so I’ll have to reverify when we get more snow.

It charges quickly, and the battery lasts a long time. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who lives somewhere that gets a lot of snow.
