Haven't been able to use it yet, it's only April and we are in Wisconsin but I can say easy assembly and powered up the batteries and started it up and everything is working properly.

Love the idea and the design, but just didn't work well

I haven't had grass I'm 20 years, and I was excited to see there were electric mowers now. I wish it actually worked better though. To be fair, the grass was pretty full by the time I attempted to now it. It just struggled to mow the grass and the batteries died in about 10 minutes. I'll give it another try, but now I have this long grass and some dread of having to use this thing 10 minutes at a time to mow my lawn. Kind of a bummer...
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It is important to adjust your mowing techniques to make the most out of the battery life! This unit is advertised as running up to 45 minutes of run-time* with 2 fully charged 4.0 Ah USB Batteries, but it goes without saying that that the harder the unit works, the quicker the battery drains.
Here are a few mowing tips to help achieve the optimal run time.
1) When cutting thick grass, reduce walking speed in order to allow for a more effective cut and a proper discharge of the clippings.
2) Only mow 1/3 of the total grass length at a time - no more. For a healthy lawn, always cut off one-third or less of the total length of the grass. The average lawn should be approximately 1 1/2 to 2” (3.8 to 5 cm) long during cool months, and between 2" to 3 1/4" (5 cm to 8.3 cm) long during hot months.
3) Mow when the grass is dry. As this is an electric unit, mowing wet/damp grass is a safety issue. However, ensuring the grass is dry will also help the grass cut cleanly and discharge appropriately. Wet/damp grass carries more weight and will mostly stick to the blade/motor shaft and will not appropriately discharge or cut easily.
4) Make sure the battery is cool before use. When the battery will not be in use, we suggest storing it indoors, in a cool dry area - away from direct sunlight. Leave the charger unplugged and the battery disconnected from the charger unless it needs charging.

Smooth Operations

Bought this about a month ago and so far pretty pleased. Mainly use this to supplement my riding mower on a 1/2 acre of land so no issue with loss of power with batteries. Stores nicely in garage. Mower had a few blemishes on the cover when I opened the box, but not enough to return. Not as powerful as some other battery operated mowers, but does the trick for me.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The lawn mower/drill package was a great deal. With 4 batteries, I can keep two charging as I mow so I can mow as long as I need to. The mower is on par with a gas mower but a lot quieter and easier to start. The drill was a great add on.

Bought for my daughter so she won’t have to deal with maintaining and starting a gas engine. She has a small yard so no problem with running out of battery. The two batteries supplied must both be installed to run the mower.

The Mower itself seems to be a well built mower, but the battery Life is less than to be desired. I have 2 sets of the batteries and cant finish my less than 4000 sq ft lawn.
I am extremely disappointed and feel like I have wasted my money :-(. Would not recommend unless you are using to cut the extra patches you need to after running your riding mower.

Battery life is good and lasted for my entire property. However, it stopped multiple times (assuming the battery was too hot) which meant I had to take breaks, which made time to completion much longer. Height adjustment is very difficult to change. Overall, I’m happy with the purchase.
