This vacuum is well built and sturdy. The components fit together with a satisfying clunk.
It has good suction with three levels to choose from. The swivel motion aids maneuverability and being able to go under low furniture is a useful feature too. Ease of use from one surface to another is also a plus. Yet another plus is being able to remove the upper part to have a small hand tool for those jobs which can't be done with the big unit.
Having a removable battery is huge because you can take care of the battery by removing it after use, thereby extending it's life.
This tool has been well thought out and appears to be well engineered.

Good performance, horrible restring process

While it's running, the unit does a good job of powering through common weed and grasss chores. However, once you run out of line, you have to remove the spool from the bump mechanism and head and they only provide a fully filled replacement spool. It's not as simple as most of the other trimmers out there, which allow you to respool while the cartridge is still attached. This one is borderline infuriating. Hopefully Greenworks will put this dinosaur out to pasture and get with the times. String changes or adds shouldn't require more than 5 seconds, no aligning and holding stuff together like a contortionist.

Hello Xyrium,
Thank you for your review. We are glad to hear that you are enjoying the performance of this string trimmer! We have a variety of string trimmer heads, all newer models come with our Load n' Go head which does not have to be removed for rewinding. Unfortunately, we do regret to inform you that older models cannot be updated to this style of the head though. Should you ever require assistance with reloading the current spool, please feel welcome to contact us at 1-888-909-6757 (1-888-90WORKS), and our team would be happy to walk you through this!

Amazing vacuum with the best suction! I can use it for anything - easy toddler cleanup, vacuuming steps, regular vacuuming, car, etc. easily the best vacuum I’ve ever owned. The only negative is the swivel ability for the floor but thinking it may just be stiff as it is new!

I am going to send you a thank you and a picture of myself with my favorite Greenworks tools. I am 75 and the proud owner of your backpack blower, 2 weed eaters, and my newest the vacuum. I use them all regularly and knock on wood they haven't let me down. I especially loved your help team. My vacuum arrived without the stand. All i did was note it on your check up e-mail and it arrived the next day. Thank you. Ps. You sent me 3 batteries and i think i only should have only gotten 2. Would you like me to return one.
