Not a gamer but this with the coordinating chair has taken care of my "gamer neck" problem. I do lots of writing on the computer and this set up is the best! Love the clean lines. Worth every dollar!
I'm not a gamer. I just wanted something simple. This works very well. It was easy to assemble mostly. The tops have minimally pre-drilled holes so it takes some elbow grease to get it fully in. Also the tops are made of particle board which I'm sure is what helps keep the cost down but that's fine. When it's all put together it is solid and sturdy. I like the sleek look and the LED lights are a nice touch. The bottom legs come with screw on round pegs that you can add a couple inches for those tall people. I elected to not use them as I'm on the shorter side.
I have purchased 3 of these desks: 2 for me (1 for a computer and 1 for gaming) and 1 for my brother. They are excellent quality at a great price. I strongly recommend scooping one of these bad boys up if you need an excellent multipurpose desk. It is really a shame that they are discontinuing the white one. The black one is an imitation carbon fiber design that is super ugly.
I like it, overall. The table seems well built and is rock-steady. I'm not fond of the new style, cartoonish assembly instructions but most everything is clearly labeled, so it wasn't a big hassle. I didn't install the 'bling' (the electric LEDs, etc), so I can't comment on that.
