This desk was and IS perfect. It is exactly what I was looking for. The cup holder and the headphone hook are a plus. So is the large mouse pad. Also let us not forget the elevated part in the back for the monitors so that you have so much space on the desk. The lights are a cool plus as well. I don't really use them but when I do it is a pretty cool effect as there are different modes and colors; Last but not least the only downfall was that the instructions were horrible. I did have to look at the box it came in to see how certain parts were supposed to look. Other than the instructions being bad everything else is all good. I do recommend it. It took me about an hour to do it. But that is because I wanted things to be precise and wanted to make sure I did not miss any steps or screw anything on incorrectly or in the wrong direction. Having a power tool was a big help in the process as well.

Arrived earlier than estimated delivery time by 4 days during the holidays. Assembly was very simple. The desk is very sturdy and has been a game changer for my home office. The led lights add a flare to the room.

It's pretty well built. Some of the directions require some guessing. It does wobble a bit but that is to be expected. It is also important to note that the lights need a USB power source- either a brick or you can plug it into a computer. It does not include a wall adapted.

I was looking online at many different desk styles and sizes. This is the only one that I was able to see in person and I appreciate that Staples has a physical store that you can see this set up. That is one reason why I bought it the other reason is it comes in one solid top where most of the ones online come in two pieces that you have to attach together. Once it's together and screwed down tightly it is very sturdy. It has cross supports on each leg to keep it from wobbling side to side. The one solid desk top is probably more sturdy over time than the two piece desk top styles you will find online probably for shipping purposes. I also like that it has a straight front this would be a good desk for gaming and for school or work. I feel the kind that are curved in the front gives you shorter depth. It is a good looking desk carbon fiber top looks awesome. FYI keep a dry microfiber cloth handy and it erases fingerprint marks easily.
