Sorry, but don't waste your money

I purchased my Intensity II about a month ago. The first one had to be returned four days after the purchase because it did not retain phone numbers, and the GPS system provided did not allow one to change the voice.
The replacement phone still doesn't allow change in the GPS default voice and this week it began to shut off automatically. I could be texting a message and the phone shuts down. I can be expecting an important call and the phone has shut itself off. Check out the blogs on this phone before you buy it. I didn't and now I regret it.

I've had this phone since March and have had it replaced 5 times because it continually freezes up, shuts off, or simply won't turn on. I usually would get a good week or two of it working properly before it would start freezing up or shutting off. I'm done with the Intensity!
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations, poor poor quality!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This phone feels like a decided step down from any other phone I've had.
First, its physical design is beyond lacking. It is bulkier than any other I've ever owned and doesn't fit comfortably in any pants pocket.
Software design fares no better. Its predictive text feature is virtually useless, neither not allowing an override without using the keyboard nor prompting further letters. Menu layout is not intuitive, and one has to press no less than four buttons just to read an incoming text message.
I bear this phone in public with shame and would gladly have paid more had I known beforehand the lack of value.

I bought this phone as a replacement and in a rush. I really regret getting this phone. The only good thing about the phone it the texting. However, the phone moves really slowly and freezes a lot.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable
Cons: Too big, Did not meet expectations

Great little phone!

The only thing I would change is the location of the VOICE COMMAND button. I keep hitting it while lifting the phone from my holder. I wish I could find a better holder... then the problem would probably go away. ;-) It can take a licking, too.
Pros: Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight

This phone is under heavy use, texting and phone calls. It has been dropped more than a few times and still works. It is surviving a teenager!

Great Messaging Phone

The Samsung Intensity II is a great phone. It is perfect for texting your friends or anyone else with the built in keyboard. The customization features make it great for a teenager to make it their own. Overall, this is a GREAT messaging phone.
