Great Phone

Although this phone may not be the fanciest phone around, it is an excellent phone for what it is. Its design is fantastic and it feels really compact and sleek. It may take some time to get used to the slipperiness of sliding out the QWERTY keyboard, but you'll get over it within a day. The keyboard works fine, although since the Q, A, and Z keys are shifted to the left it may feel unnatural at times.
As for battery life, it lasts for a solid amount of time. During a vacation I constantly used this phone all day, and it lost 2 bars, which is good by my standards.
The camera is very nice, and the quality is surprisingly impressive. It's a shame there's no video.
The only problem I've had with it was when it froze up once when I turned it off. I had to let the phone run out of battery to get it back up, so I'm afraid I'll have to dock off a point in performance.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, great design, nice camera
Cons: no video, camera could use a zoom feature while shooting
I would recommend this to a friend!

Buggy Phone

This phone can have software issues which are not repairable/covered. Thus your phone will no longer turn on and will no longer be of use. It is a great paperweight though. Also the black screen makes a great conversation starter.
Pros: Inexpensive, good paperweight
Cons: Poor quality, software issues
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

At least it came in blue.

This phone is awful. Even when I'm texting, I have to stop and wait for the phone to type out my words, or it will jumble them. Texts regularly refuse to open, it sometimes doesn't ring when I get calls, the screen stays locked when calls and texts come in, incoming texts stay open (which actually does stop the screen from locking), and the voice command button is a little too eager to be pressed (I don't personally know anyone who doesn't loathe that button anyway). Also, if you do drop it, the back flies off and the whole thing goes everywhere. Once, the alarm clock feature decided to only go off for about three seconds before it quit. Another time, it turned itself off and refused to turn back on until I took the battery out and put it back in again. Overall, it's an awful phone.
But the Intensity 1 didn't come in blue, just red and black, so I guess that's nice.
Cons: Poor quality, Too big, Did not meet expectations, slow
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Excellent Phone

This phone is exactly what I wanted - a phone for making calls and texting. Phone clarity is excellent and texting with the full slide out QWERTY keyboard is great. The phone has all the features I need. Taking pictures and sending them off in a text is easy. I have set up the Menu direction keys to quickly access the features I use most often - texting, notepad, stop watch, and quick access to the calculator, bluetooth on/off, media center and alarm clock. Perfect phone with lots of features and no data plan needed.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Lightweight, great features
I would recommend this to a friend!

Samsung Intensity II Phone

This phone is pretty good. It has a few querks and a few missing features that I wish it had in comparison to my other phone. I am having problems hooking the phone up to my computer to transfer music onto the SD card so I can listen to music on my phone.
Also, this phone does not allow you to take video's.
Another weird querk is that the phone will not allow you to put items on the calender for days that have already passed.
Finally, when I connect my bluetooth to the phone, I hear high pitched whines in the background of the bluetooth when there is a silence.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Lightweight
I would recommend this to a friend!

I used to have the Samsung Intensity (the first Model) But now they came out with the Intensity 2 for Prepaid and i upgraded... It is a great phone. The ONLY thing i wish it had, is a longer battery life. I've had about 5 other Samsung Products... they have all been good and reliable.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, great features
Cons: wish it had a longer battery life.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Another fail for Samsung

Features - Lacking in ability to add personalized ring tones. One thing it is great at is shutting itself off randomly when not in use. Comes in handy when you want another piece of equipment that is of suspect design quality.
Performance - S L O W. Incredibly slow on any use. Sound quality of calls is also poor.
Design - Has a slide full QWERTY keyboard which is very difficult to slide due to the SLICK surfaces with which were put on the product. Slides great when adding some sort of cover/case, but that makes it bulky and also hard to use the buttons on the side of the face.
Value - It was the cheapest non-smart phone available with my wireless carrier. Also one of the dumbest of non-smart phones on the market.
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Phone. Easy to use. The only con is that the u460 does not record video. Other than that i would definitely recommend this.
