Simple To Use

Love the keyboard. Music player is the best of all the phones I have had. Great screen clarity. Wish the camera had more megapixels but it works great and takes good pictures.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight

I guess the hardware is well made and it may prove to be dependable, don't know yet. I am disappointed in the lack of a good owner's instruction manual to help us technology challenged older folks.The cute little booklet that comes packaged with this phone is NOT user friendly. It lmakes one guess at navigating through the functions, no helpful details on how things work. Except for not being told how to use it, it seems to be O.K.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Very unhappy with Samsung Intensity II

I have had to replace the phone twice already and will be replacing it again tomorrow. The phone keeps freezing or going completely dead. When it dies, usually in the middle of the night while sitting on a table, it won't allow me to turn it back on. I have to pull out the battery.
Saturday the phone froze, something I didn't realize until I had a minor situation and needed to make a call. Driving down the road is not the time to be trying to remove a hard case and pull out a battery to reset the phone.
I got the phone about 25 - 30 days ago. At one point the cell phone company kept the phone for half a day and reloaded the software. It froze about a week later.
I would love the phone IF it worked properly. I would switch to another phone but the cell phone company will only move me to a cheaper phone with fewer features.
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations, bad software?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

i do not like this phone i have had it for 2 weeks now. It is a very sensitive phone i put it in my backpack all day took it out and it was broke. Cannot stand this phone. The back comes off easily which is a pain , the keyboard is very close together i had a lot of misspells. The phone is nice while it lasts.
Pros: Lightweight

A great phone for newbies

This phone really gives you an introduction to texting and helps you speed up in less than a week.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, big keyboard & keys
Cons: Not high def, mono speaker, protective cover makes it bulky

I have had my new phone for a month and its very easy to learn, set up and use. If you are looking for a phone with a simple design and not all the bells and whistles of some of the new phones, this is a great choice! Reasonably priced and user friendly, the Intensity II is attractive and reliable. My only wish for this phone is that it had a zoom on the camera and maybe a little better pixel setting, otherwise I'm thrilled with it.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, easy to program
Cons: no camera zoom

The Intensity II has been great for pocket dialing (even when "locked"), not unlocking to allow me to answer incoming calls, repeatedly trying to access the web so I can pay for unwanted web access, and new for today not letting me make outgoing calls to my wife who wonders why I won't return her voice mails. Don't buy this phone. The software STINKS!
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations, unlocks in at least two unintended ways

I liked the price of this phone when I first saw it and I was also specifically looking for a qwerty keypad. Unfortunately, I have been pretty disappointed for the reasons mentioned in "Cons" section.
Pros: Inexpensive
Cons: Poor quality, Too big, Did not meet expectations, locks automatically poor unlocking features, grainy sound, camera not up to expectations, short battery life, keys too small
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
