Samsung Intensity II

I replaced a Motorola slider with this phone. I was disappointed in the slider, but this one seems more robust. I did not want a Smart phone, so this one is a full-feature regular phone. The keyboard has good sized buttons. The screen is not a touch screen, a major drawback of the Motorola. The display is a good size, and is really bright. The phone is a bit large but not terrible. Reception is good, and bluetooth connectivity is easy.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable
I would recommend this to a friend!

worst mistake

Pathetic battery life aside, this phone lasted less than 3 months. I have always purchased a Samsung cell and after this phone it is doubtful I ever will purchase another. In the few minutes time between calls half the screon went white and the other half was unreadable. I was told the phone was "abused" although it was sitting on a desk at a car dealership while we were filling out paperwork with the salesman. The screen was fine when a call came in and gone when I attempted to call the person back only minutes later. It was not dropped, nor wet, nor placed in a pocket or purse. Just sitting on a desk. Avoid this phone like the plague unless you only intend to hang it on your wall like artwork as it obviously cannot handle even delicate use. Very disappointed as my Alias I is STILL working great after 5+ years.
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This phone was exactly what I needed, I don't like touchscreens and all I use my phones for are calls and texts. Which this phone does flawlessly. The personal speaker has broken once, but that was because I dropped it. Verizon Wireless replaced it, no questions asked.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight
I would recommend this to a friend!

Best phone I've had

I didn't realize what I had until it was gone. I had this phone for about 3 years and I decided to "upgrade". Tried 2 other phones and nothing felt like an upgrade from this..even trying touch phones. I dropped this so many times, it never stopped working. Battery life is awesome..only charged it about once or twice a week. The one thing I didn't realize until after this phone was that it had good theme colors like black..to keep it simple. The camera is actually pretty decent, it also has some good editing options for pictures. All in all, I used it for texting and calling and it did just that and more. I will probably end up reactivating this in the future because my other phones don't live up to it.
Pros: Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight
I would recommend this to a friend!

I find this phone to work well. It is giving me about 4 to 5 days of battery life, the screen is clear and bright and the volume is loud. The keypad doesn't do well for people with large fingers, or poor eyesight, but otherwise I am satisfied with this product. I do find the phone a bit more difficult to hold while talking due to the width of the phone.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Realistic color
Cons: difficult to hold. too wide.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Bad yet Good

The entire premise of a basic phone is that it is "basic." I hate to say it, but this phone is crammed. There are too many features stuffed into this phone, and all of them are very mediocre. I feel that if Samsung had concentrated more on the more important features, i.e. texting software, camera, and accessibility to important things like pictures, contacts, and messages. This phone has very few ringtones, and none of them are very good. The camera is the worst I have ever dealt with at 1.3 megapixels and no zoom. But, with that said, every feature on the Intensity II that is also on the Galaxy Nexus is about a third of the delivering power. That might sound bad, but with the consideration that the phone is a basic phone, it is amazing; the only exception to that ratio is the camera. It really doesn't get worse than that. And this phone has a 2.5 millimeter headset jack, meaning that your regular iPod headphones won't work, along with just about every other pair you'll ever find.
Pros: Inexpensive, Durable
Cons: Poor quality, it has a 2.5 millimeter headset jack
I would recommend this to a friend!

I've been using the phone since 2010, currently it works just as it did the day I bought it, amazingly considering how many times it has been dropped...
Pros: Inexpensive, Durable, Lightweight, bluetooth, micro sd, battery life
