New to texting but the Samsung Intensity II makes it so easy that I moved from novice to almost expert in days. Besides the QWERTY keyboard, there are a lot of other excellent features.
My biggest problem with this phone is that if you don't use a hands free on it I almost always end up hitting the camera button while holding it. I don't do texting so I can't really give an opinion on that part of it. Other than that I guess it's ok.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable
Cons: Did not meet expectations
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I've had the phone for 3 weeks now and have no complaints. The sound quality is good. Works great with the bluetooth device for handsfree calling in the car. I love the keyboard. The quick start manual is lacking but the full version that is online at samsung is very helpful and explains how to use the features.
Pros: Bright display, nice keyboard
I would recommend this to a friend!

It's a great little phone with all the features it has. There's just one problem --- every so often the screen goes blank. I have to hit the "end" button to bring it back to normal.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color
Cons: blank screen
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Unhappy Phone Owner

I don't like the lock on the phone, don't like the way it responds when attempting to answer an incoming call. Don't like the phone in general and really didn't like the salesperson who recommended the phone. This is partially my fault in that I was in a hurry to get to something I enjoy rather than spending an hour waiting to buy a product that I don't really care about just because I was replacing an equally poorly designed product that became unusuable due to a broken charger port. Long story short, I don't like cell phones at all.
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight, generally good battery life
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations, unlock poorly designed, answer process sometimes difficult
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

After having to replace my previous phone, and not wanting or having to go over to a smartphone, the Samsung Intensity II fit my every need and then some. It's incredibly light compared to to my last phone. It's has the full QWERTY, good quality pics a pretty dynamic customization, and is eco-friendly. All I need it for is texting and phone calls, but have been finding more and more regular uses for the phone daily.
