The calander on this phone is very disapointing. It only holds 100 entries. Not enough for birthdays, meetings, appointments, and day to day events. We have had many problems with downloading picture messages. We have had our phones (2) back to the store twice in 2 months for this problem.
Cons: Did not meet expectations
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Samsung Intensity™ II Full QWERTY Cell Phone is viable
on February 7, 2011
Posted by: 1reallyanickname
While the Intensity II is a visually appealing cell phone, it has a few shortcomings worth investigating and solving. Retrieving a contact is cumbersome with the need to input a complete name based on storage at time of input. Remembering specifics of data entry can be challenging on a daily basis, much less for the aging population. The ability to have all names display and eliminate as added spelling is added would save time and frustration levels. The calendar has a pre-loaded nuisance of ECO day and a "short" explaination for me to read and expand my ecological conscience. IF I wanted this information, I am perfectly capable of searching for it on the WWW without having it foisted on me by your company and filling my schedule space. However, it is easy to read and I like the voice announcement of who is calling.
Cons: eco and epa days imbedded, where is groundhog day spring solstice..., calendar special days for all countries, supply a calendar accessory for choice, give options for calendar recurring events
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought 3 Some good but some "terrible"

Start with good. Clear screen. Great voice control, good battery life, etc, with good phones OTHER No way to lock ringer settings and they change in the case. Use of lock/unlock feature means extra key stroks. Should have voice unlock. such as push the button and say answer call or "call" etc. Goes on line or makes calls while in wife's purse or my holder as the buttons are not "protected' by the case which should be slightly higher than the buttons to help prevent this
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display
Cons: Did not meet expectations, seting problem, self operation
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bigest peice of ugly a ever bought. the phone is poorly made and the slide poped in the first 5hrs i had the dang thing and was lose after that. you also can't pick up the thing without setting off an app. be it camara or picture. at one point i set off a data stream and it started downloading something from my belt. I wouldn't throw this phone in the lake out of fear that the lake might throw it back. takeing it back to the store after one night.
Pros: none
Cons: everything
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The pairing of this phone with my car keeps failing. I'll get it paired up and after a few days it has to be reset by removing the battery. You need to get a fix for this Samsung!

I got this phone about two weeks ago and I was excited to begin using it. When I got home I found the menu items, themes, ringtones, photos and layouts were not what I expected. Overall, there was not much in the way of personalization regarding the features listed above. I wish you could use your own mp3 files as ringtones, a crop edit option for pictures would also be nice. The lack of menu personalization also leaves something to be desired. Also, the confirmation dialog box pop ups that appear after ever selection are somewhat bothersome. The pros of this phone are the earpiece is loud and clear and the compact size and weight enables the user to fit it easily in a front pocket. The camera also takes pretty good pictures for a 1.3 megapixel unit.
