No so Green

Yes. It was design to be a "green" phone... But I have to charge the phone almost every day...
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Lightweight
Cons: Did not meet expectations, low battery life
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

All great except camera

I bought this to enhance my texting capabilities. And it is great for that. However I am not satisfied with the camera. My former Motorola cell phone allowed you to save the pics you take if you wanted to rotate them. This camera does not allow you to do so. It will let you add fun frames and clipart and allow you to save it. But just to take a pic and rotate it, it does not allow you to save it once it is rotated.
I would recommend this to a friend!

paired to my sync system with no problem. downloads my phone book from phone to vehicle.allows sync to read my text messages aloud. fantastic phone for a "basic " phone.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight

Within five days of owning the phone it locked up with a screen "USB Main Download". I could not get it to power off or anything. I had to remove the optional hard shell cover (not an easy task), remove the battery, and then I was able to turn on the phone. The very next day, the phone was dead and I could not get it to power on! Again I had to remove the hard shell cover, remove the battery, and then turn the phone back on. UghHH!
What is worse is the USB Mass Storage or memory card accessory will not recognize my photos. They are JPEG which is in the JPG format, yet I can't use the card for what I wanted. This fancy looking paperweight is going back to the Wireless/Cellphone store today!
I have alot of respect for Samsung. I have owned a great digital video camera in the past (still works great) and I still own a 42-inch plasma, both by Samsung.
This purchase has impacted my likelihood of ever purchasing another Samsung product.

I like the qwerty keyboard, color..just wish it would sync with the two bluetooth speakers that I bought. Both clip to your visor so when I'm driving I don't have to 'hold' my phone. Just won't sync. Very annoying

The worst thing ever

Phone constantly restarts. Poor quality. Menu takes forever to come up. Freezes for no reason. Resends the last text message every minute! Battery life is seriously non existant. keyboard is odly shaped and quite confusing. Camera quality is the worst in the world, my Moterola Razer from years ago was 10X better than this phone, and still works. I switched back to it because this phone has no Reliablilty. Its my third phone in 4 months. Everyone i know thinks it is horrible and should have never made it to the market. Save yourself the greif and do no purchase this phone unless you like to get frusterated with under developed technology.

Cons: Poor quality, Not high def, Did not meet expectations, cannot work properly, wigs out, restarts constantly, no battery life, camera takes horrible pictures, vibrate is crazy

Amazing Phone

Okay so its not a droid or blackberry or iPhone, but if you're just looking for a phone for texting/calling this phone is awesome. The reception appears to be above average, the battery life is amazing and I "lost" my phone this last weekend and found it a day later in a slushy parking lot with truck-sized tread-marks going over it and it still had battery and still worked fine... I can't even tell that anything bad happened to it. So if you're in the market for a phone, get a Samsung-the last, and they hold up!

Lots of problems with this phone from day one. It would turn itself on and off all day long. Had to be replaced after 2 days.New one will still get into a mode by itself. Screen impossible to see in bright sunlight. Lock/unlock mechanism either slow to unlock when you want to or unlocks itself with the slightest pressure. It's hard to find a suitable phone if you don't want or need data.
Pros: Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color
Cons: Did not meet expectations
