Noise cancellation didn’t work

The sound was fantastic. Foam eat tips were not as comfortable as silicon but apparently worth it for sound quality. However the noise cancellation did not work. Flipping between OFF and NOISE CANCELATION did not make any difference. I compared it with my AirPods Pro to be certain. Best Buy was nice enough to let me return them even though they were opened. Hopefully it was just a fluke manufacturing defect but I didn’t get another pair to find out.
I love the ear buds. Did plenty of research before settling on these at my price point. Unfortunately I am going to return them and repurchase at Costco.
Why? Because I have no idea how they fit or their comfort level. The minute I open them I forfeit my ability to return them should they not be for me. With costco, this isn't a problem. The headphones are 4/5, but this review gets a 1 for bestbuy policies.
Earphones are worth every penny , but the only thing is you gotta know how to use them. They're easy to set up for basic use you wanna use it to it's full potential you gotta spend some time on it and set everything into your way so that you get the best personal experience. Overall they're a good product over any other earphones at that price. The sound quality , call quality and the noise cancellation are at best I've ever experienced .
I bought these yesterday and I already hate them with the intensity of a thousand suns… gosh! These have serious design flaws! I changed the rubber thing sizes, but it just hurts! I cannot wear them for more than one hour that I feel my ears are going to fall! Unbelievable that I have nothing else to do with them, since best buy won’t exchange for another thing… I don’t even need a refund, I just want to get rid of this crap!
I have been Sony true wireless ANC earbuds for years, from WF-1000XM3 to XM5. Sound quality of Sony earbuds is already great. I don't think XM5 is much better than XM4 in terms of sound quality and ANC. However, I do like the new feature of XM5, which you can seamlessly switch connection with two device. It is connected to my iPhone and MacBook at the same time. I really love this feature.
Con: The earbuds are designed smaller than XM4. The body is quite slippery. It is easy to fall from your hand if not paying attention
Just bought these after using the xm3 for a couple of years. Was hoping for better battery life and some other feature upgrades with the xm5's. After using them for a few days, I'm actually considering returning them and using my xm3's until they are dead.
The good... battery life is much better and I like that the switching between NC modes is less intrusive but that's about all i can say.
The case looks and feels cheap. It's too small and it's awkward to put the buds inside. The xm3s just slide in so nicely. The materials they used on the buds is also a cheap feel and look. Not liking the xm5 experience in the slightest. There is no led on the buds themselves anymore and once I didn't have the bud placed 100% correctly so it didn't charge. There is no feedback anywhere. Even the charging light turns off so you have no idea when it's finished. Who made these terrible choices??? Also, I'm already having problems getting the touch controls to work. Half of the time they don't respond. Rarely had this issue on the xm3s
Even at $100 off these are not worth it. As I said, I'm seriously considering returning them. The small upgrades are nice but the inconveniences and cheap materials are a turn off.
I bought them when they were on sale and after a day of use I had my wife buy them too. She has small ears and she found a set that fit in hear ear. After you find the right size you are good to go. It would have gotten 5 out of 5 but I can't figure out this one functionality that really has everything around me silent. It happens randomly. I guess I need more time on it.
