Windy Day Phone Calls Solved

I have an iPhone and loved the controls and fit on my old cheapo Sony buds. But I couldn’t make clean, clear phone calls on windy days outside. Now I can. Love these. Spoken word and music sound great as well!
Upgraded from XM5, reviews online undersell the difference between XM5 and XM6, ANC is spooky good. Sound stage is some how better. Better bass response, high end as well. AND THR FIT IS WAY BETTER. Amazing.
Because these are now over 2 years old, the foam on these earbuds is too old now, making them feel like sand or dust on your ears. Also even if you manage to get a set that is not too old, to use these you need to install at least a couple apps and these apps are not easy to use either, a lot to configure and set up, it's definetly not an out of box ready to use product.
They are on sale because the foam on the earbuds has gone "stale", maybe all the great reviews were from when these were brand new, but they aren't new anymore, also they can't be use right of the box, if you want to properly use all the "features" of these earbuds, you need to install a sony app, create a sony account, agree to a bunch of spam and even then, the earbuds still don't work as intended.
I thought I would treat myself and spend a little more money on these. Since buying them last summer I have had nothing but endless connectivity issues, the noice cancelling is mediocre at best and the battery life is awful. I am coming from the Samsung Galaxy buds prom lineup and will without a doubt be going back. Do not buy any Sony products.
I have had these earbuds for just over a year and chose them for the noise cancelling and decent mic for using on work calls. The foam ear buds are peeling now. Its difficult to change the volume since you have to tap the ear bud 4 times to change the volume and it doesn't always recognize the taps. When I work out with these I'll accidently brush the headphone and it'll skip or pause my music. When I'm outside and taking a phone call I'm told I sound muffled or far away. I mainly use these for work and they're okay for that but would appreciate if I could use for phone calls while walking. As of yesterday, my right earbud has no sound. I see online that many people have had this issue with no resolution. I've tried many things to resolve it and nothing has worked. I had some basic JLab earbuds previously that never failed so I don't understand why these are failing already. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.
Great sound and ANC, but have connection problems.

Purchased these because I lost my Samsung earbuds. Got them on sale during the Christmas seasons and I'm glad I didn't pay full price, but I still feel like I wasted money.
These have good audio and probably the best ANC for a wireless earbud, but the connection is CONSTANTLY dropping from one earbud or the other. These are the only bluetooth devices that have connection drops with my phone. It happens so frequently that it makes these just about unusable.
