Noise reduction and sound quality are good, battery life is a little below average, controls are absolute sh!te!. In fact the controls seem mostly geared towards getting you to use streaming services and voice assistants so that Sony can gather data on you and sell it, i.e. Would definitely not recommend buying at full price. I got 150 off as a sale and I still feel a little ripped off. Buyer beware.

I did extensive research around which ear buds were the best in terms of reducing ambient noise (incoming & outgoing) when on calls. I decide to bite the bullet and spend the large amount on these ear buds and I could be more disappointed. They are good ear buds in terms all of the other functioning but specifically for what I need them for- not good. If you're someone like me who is on calls all day and in noisy environments, go with a cheaper option because these just did not live up to the hype. Seriously regretting this purchase.

Sound is nothing particular, very plain, not much bass. Not worth the bucks tbh.
Battery is great, interface is ok.
Impossible to change default behavior (ear through/sound canceling/off) with one or multiple ears.
They are both master so you can use only left or right.
switching between 2 devices works but it can be very tedious at time and you need to reset them.
all in all, I would not recommend it.

- AMAZING sound quality, very useful ambient sound mode, effective ANC.
- Convenient tap controls on the buds.
- Small, compact charging case.
- Incredibly light and comfortable.
- Great battery life.
- Comfortable memory foam tips - multiple size options.
- EQ settings on Sony’s app - simple, yet very effective custom EQ settings.
