[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this headset a few weeks ago and finally had some time to try it out. To date I’ve been pretty impressed with this headset.
The contents of the box were basic and included the headset, a short orange USB-C to USB-C cable, a quick start guide/instruction manual, and the headset’s warranty documentation.
The fast-pairing BT connection was extremely quick and reliable on both my Android phone and when connecting to my Windows computer. The sound was impressive right out of the box. However, it was even better when both sound and equalizer adjustments were made via the JBL Headphones App. All my video and voice conference calls were crystal clear on the headset. It was both light and comfortable enough for me to wear for extended periods of time on calls, and during 2-3 hour-long meetings.
The power, volume, connection, and audio controls are located on the right ear cup and were easy enough to find and adjust without looking – that is, after I wore them a couple of times.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was pleasantly surprised by these headphones. As a more entry-level model in JBL's lineup, I wasn't expecting such an even sound profile. While I've never been a big fan of "on ear" style headphones these are surprisingly comfortable to wear, and still do a decent job of blocking out unwanted noise. The sound stage is nice for right-left separation, though it doesn't have the depth of higher-end models. The bass response is much better than expected as well, these headphones definitely outclass many earbuds in sound quality. Overall, these are a great bang for the buck. While they don't have many of the features of fancier models, (no active listening, auto-off, or voice assistant) they don't really need those things to be good headphones. Not to mention the battery life is stellar! i have charged these guys once after fully depleting the battery, but they last me days even when I accidentally leave them on over night.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use these doing work around the house and while running. The on-ear fit has the benefit of not pressing in my glasses. The sound quality is impressive for such a light-weight headphone. My head is bigger than average, so it fits a little tight, but I don’t mind because it won’t be falling off while jogging. Again, the sound is amazing as usual from JBL.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Basically use these at work. Sound quality is good, noise cancelation is good, and BT connectivity is thw best I've come across yet!
My only complaint is they don't fit well when I put my glasses on.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love these headphones. I use them to listen to music while cleaning, listening to audiobooks before bed, and while completing my school work. They are comfortable and lightweight, easy to pair and the charge last a really long time.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use my JBL 520BT in a desktop PC/Win v11 environment, as its bluetooth sound device. This desktop is not my primary source for video or sound, but is my bread and butter device for a non professional use that needs localized user sound. The 520BT paired easily with my PC in a non app environment. The battery life is excellent. The sound quality is quite good for its price point. I typically use the device for total of two hours a day in half hour increments. For me the ear muffs are little on the small side, and muff pressure a little tight. Also would like to see on led indicator
