I am downloading all this software for the 03302 Stretchable Fabric Transfer and got the whole Designe Pro 5. Now I have to get Design Pro 5.4 and they both have no product code for the 03302. I tried to use any other program just to make it work but I have to flip the picture. Rotate ..I don't have one. I can probably find a program to do this but I just spent my entire day following your instructions after I payed $15 after tax for 5 transfers that I can not use after 6 hours of following your instructions on the INSTRUCTIONS THAT CAME WITH IT.

It works if you follow the instructions

Worked perfectly. If you follow the instructions to the letter and use light colored fabric then you get a good transfer. Wash inside out with cold water and you are good to go. You do need to mirror flip your picture/wording before you iron the transfer on...tip for everyone: get yourself adobe acrobat and then you can print your picture file/word file/pdf etc to an “acrobat PDF file” which has a mirror image setting.

I followed the enclosed directions exactly when transferring the images to a shirt and it didn't work. Not only did the image not transfer completely - some areas stuck to the paper, some areas partly transferred (yes I evenly heated the whole image for the same amount of time) - but after washing as instructed on the directions 90% of my images were peeled or flaking off.
Cons: Color Fades, Dull Tones & Colors

Tried to do up some onsies. 5 out of 6 would not peel clean without tearing. I looked through the comments just now and it seems the #3302 product never has a favorable comment...clearly Avery needs to drop this product.

I don’t understand any of the positive reviews. Of the 3 t-shirts I designed and made for myself and 2 others for gifts I had so many problems I can’t begin to tell you. I had to throw out 2 and remake because the transfers wouldn’t properly adhere. Thankfully the t-shirts weren’t expensive but the point really is how much effort, thought, time, money and ultimately total frustration is wasted on the final product even once you think you have a good finished product. Here is an example of 1 of the 3. My 3 kitties pictured in a garden setting.....everything is flaking off. There is no way I didn’t follow instructions to the letter. Firstly, even though Avery does not explicitly emphasize the fabric must be at least partially synthetic, I used 50/50 cotton/poly. After one HAND WASHING the image is flaking off. I am furious. And now that I have given t-shirts that I have spent hours designing to my 2 friends who also have cats I have to explain to them that the image will probably not last. I must include this...I am a very experienced crafter. Sewing slipcovers, painting, jewelry making, woodworking, you name it I’ve probably done it. This was going to be a no-brainer for me. Easy peasy. Let me warn you....before you experience the same frustration I did....don’t’ do it!!

Should specify for light fabrics

I was using these on coloured items (orange, blue, green, etc). The images turned out great when printed at best quality, BUT once I ironed onto the clothing item (took a few tries), the design was barely visible. On the cover of the packaging there are only light/white fabrics used, but this should be stated explicitly in name of product. I will be buying the dark fabric transfers to try this project again.
Pros: Colours Printed Well
Cons: Translucent When Applied

Terrible. But it's the best of a bad situation. None of the Avery trrnasfer products seem to work well. But out of all of them, this is the best. That being said; it's still garbage. The instructions are convoluted and too indirect. The estimated time of three-minutes per average full sheet was ridiculous. I spent at least twice that long and still ended up with a poor result. When the transfer finally worked, the edges weren't clean (to say the least), and the image peeled very easily. Total waste of money buying this product. Would've wasted my money on the shirt as well if the washing machine hadn't decimated the remaining transfer clean off the fabric. Hard to understand, difficult to work with, questionable results at best, does not last.

As with all Avery products I was not disappointed with my sample. The instructions are very clear and easy to follow and with Avery samples you always get a full size sample to try. Avery products are always a great buy and with their product line you always get free templates with each particular product. Due to health reasons I have not used my sample yet, but I know I won't be disappointed and will certainly want to buy more. Thank you for giving me the chance to review such great products.
