The reviewers that comment that these transfers don't work, may be using all cotton fabrics... READ the directions... POLYESTER or POLYESTER/COTTEN BLEND!!! WASH FABRIC FIRST!!! I suggest you do not use fabric softener, prior to application!!! What side to print on should be obvious but the manufacturer could state which side to print on. In my Dell printer I load the paper... BLUE SIDE UP!

This product made me waste money. It cracked and peeled after first wash. I had to start over on all the shirts I was working on with a different product.

You can improve the instructions; I read the ones that were enclosed, then went to your you tube. Totally different. The product itself does not do what you say it does. Hopefully you are reading this before buying the product. DO NOT BUY IT
Cons: Too Expensive, Smears Easily, Dull Tones & Colors

I used this product following the instructions very carefully and found that the image didn't want to transfer, I finally got the image to transfer but it to about three times the time given in the instructions. When it did transfer the image didn't transfer completely. After when I hand washed the item tha I used the transfer on the image almost washed off completely, leaving behind a flaky mess. I am very disappointed

We do apologize for that and we have seen that a number of our consumers have been having issues using our transfer products. Just to make sure that you have all of the correct steps you can visit our new Avery.com/transfer page for more information and product demonstrations. However, if you are still running into issues, you can also reach the consumer care team for your region by going to Avery.ca and using the "Help" section on that site. This site is for the US product line and the manufacturing sources will be different for the two regions. Apologies again and we hope our Avery Canada team can give you more options very soon!

Get it hot!!

Works great but you have to get it really hot and push down with iron. It even works on jean jacket but get it really hot and almost rub it in with the edge of iron. When using peal it slowly while still hot and if not completely transferred just continue to iron. The non-stretchable is much easier to work with but both finished products look and wear incredibly well.

Satisfactory for the Price

I’ve done a few heat transfers onto different products. I am 3-4 on successful transfers. The HP office jet 6978 and the heat press my brother owns does a solid job of customizing clothing. The best presses seemed to come out after 375 degrees, 30 second press. Let cool for 2 minutes and then press again for 5 seconds before peeling. The bad transfer happened at 325 degrees and was peeled right after 30 seconds of heat

This product is very expensive, my pack didn't have instructions with it, and it didn't work. I have been transferring pictures for a long time, and I thought I might try this brand. Never again will I buy from Avery. I read all of the directions before beginning the process and followed each one to the a T, but when it came time to peel the backing off of the image, it would not budge. I waited the 2 minutes as directed and could not make any progress. I thought perhaps I did not apply enough heat so I re-ironed the image and tried again. Still no luck. I tried peeling while the paper was still hot, and did manage to reveal a small corner of the picture but I could not get any further. I cannot imagine that this was due to a lack of heat or pressure as I scorched the table under the project. I am very disappointed and will certainly not purchase this product again. I spent close to $60 on a few packages of this paper . I would never recommend this product to anyone else. If you are thinking of buying this product, don't. It's not worth the time, grief, or money.

I did small logo and name on forty five work shirts (poly/cotton). Flawless results 80% of the time. 1. Donêt handle the image. (oil from hands impaired transfer) 2. Iron MUST be VERY hot. (I set it on linen.) 3. Heat evenly. 4. Time carefully. (Too much; cracks. Too little, wonêt stick.) My best results: 90-120 seconds, reset iron ever 30.
