I should have just used a nail

I recently moved into a new home and wanted to use these hooks to hold some jewelry. I followed the directions on the package and out of the 6 strips included in the pack only 1 actually stuck and stayed on the wall. What a waste of money.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

These hooks are intended to each hold up to a 1/2 lb and we would not expect the trouble you described. VERY Disappointed :-(

I am very OCD about my Command hooks, I use them everywhere & have for 14 years (I should have bought stock way back then). I purchased 2 of the clear medium size hooks & clear strips value packs at a big box hardware store. I was so excited to start my Christmas decorating. I cleaned all the locations to hang my beautiful new decorations with alcohol, let it dry an hour or more, placed my strips, then placed my hooks, waited 2 or more hours & hung my pretties! Within 2 hours the hooks were pulling off the wall from the top, then the ones on the wrap around bar cabinets started pulling off from the top, soon, everyone of the value pack strips had DIED & the hooks were falling down along with my decorations!! :-0 Thank goodness I always keep a supply of extra hanging strips, the good old white ones!! :-) I replaced the clear strips with the white ones after cleaning the walls & hooks & waiting for everything to dry again . Voilá..... Everything was as it should be, in fact everything is still hanging perfectly 3 weeks later, same hooks, different strips. I WILL NEVER buy the clear strips again. Sorry 3M folks, you missed the boat on this clear strip product.

Perfect fit

My office was recently moved to smaller space. I have dry wall and concrete wall's. These are great because they work on any surface. And if I need to move them they don't leave a mark. I have used about of 10 of them to hang pamphlets in my bathroom for kids to take in private if they wish.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Works great on walls!

I have these in my kitchen, holding decorative utensils, and other decorative items. Since I live in a really old home, I have brick behind my plaster and these little gems allow me to decorate my kitchen! Thanks so much for the "clear" hooks!

Loved until fell off the wall taking off the paint

I really liked these they worked great after about 6 months or so the fell off the wall. When this happened all the paint behind them came off. Would have been better to use nails. Now will have to pay to have fixed in my apartment. Now I am afraid to see what happens when I have to take down the photo strips.

Use for Many Uses!

These are not only excellent utensil hooks, I use them in my large front window to hang crystals, and inside my large dresser's double doors to hang necklaces. I've also removed the crystals at Christmas and hung Christmas decorations from them. The hook swings upward, but I've found that with just the right amount of weight, it can be used for other things beside utensils.
I would recommend this to a friend!
