Doesn’t stick

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought 2 hooks yesterday. I couldn’t get either one to stick. The hook peeled off the glass after 5 seconds. The backing was very difficult to get off the adhesive strip which pulled it off the glass. The ones I bought a few years ago were great. Fortunately I still had adhesive strips left over from those hooks. I used those strips instead and so far so good. Sorry, 3M. You really missed the mark with these. Go back to the original adhesive strips. They worked great and still do!

Great Window Hook

They have great sticking power, but remove with ease and without damage. I will buy these hooks for more holiday window decorating. Thank you for the great product.

Garbage

Doesn't work as advertised. Falls off of basically all outdoor surfaces; wood, brick, door. Pretty much ruined my entire life- or at least my mid afternoon when I was going to get thing done and how to go back to the store instead. I would recommend these if you like plastic hooks that fall on the ground or just generally useless things.

Did not hold up my small wreath

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted to use these hooks to hang some small holiday wreaths on our glass windows at our house. I cleaned the window surface & my husband applied the hooks as directed. Later that day, my wreaths were on the ground and the hooks were no longer attached to the window. Luckily there was an extra strip I could use for each of my hooks. I personally installed the hook this time following the directions. I waited until the next day to hang my wreaths. I thought it was a success. The wreaths were up for about 2 weeks when they fell again along with the hooks unattached to the window. At this point it is 2 more weeks until it is Christmas. I have no more strips so I either need to buy more or find a different solution. I'm very disappointed this did not work out for me.

I have used regular 3m hooks in the past with great results. This is the first time I have tried the window hook. I followed instructions, waiting until the following day to hang my lightweight Halloween wreath, and within 5 minutes it fell to the ground. The adhesive was still attached to the hook. I am trying with 2nd adhesive strip, but expecting more of the same...

Terrible!

I bought the regular command outdoor for windows because my wreaths are light, just bows. We just bought this new house and was excited to decorate outside for Christmas ..I put up 13 wreaths, before the last one was finished some had already fallen to the ground. I used the second strip in packages, following the instructions. It rained that night and down they come again.my new neighbors are probably having a good laugh. I went to go get the larger outdoor command strips, now I have spent for a second time..well over 15.00. I put the wreaths up for the third time, they stay..until it rained that night..5 came down, the others hanging on because I had also put suction cups to help. I used suction cups on the others and guess what..four days later they are still up. I am discussed that I wasted so much money on this product. Inside they work fine, but the outdoor ones need a lot to improve them so they will work..only 7days until Christmas..hope they hang that long..I am embarrassed!
