Does not stay adhered

I love Command products generally and have never had any issues with any type that I've used. This Command product is the first I've used that does not stay adhered as claimed. I intentionally bought the outdoor window type hook as I thought it would be perfect for wreath hanging. In the past I have hung the exact same wreaths using basic large command hooks(non "outdoor" type) on wooden/composite doors- never had any issues. New house, glass storm door- wreath fell some time between 3 to 11 hours after hanging. I tried again with another adhesive strip, making sure to follow the directions exactly (not that I didn't the first time). Fell once again within hours of hanging...I even weighed the wreath to make sure I had the appropriate size hook. I'm really disappointed 3M.

can't get it to stick on glass

I followed all the directions and have not been able to get just the hangar to stick to the door. I hung 2 and both fell within an hour, and I had not even placed wreath on it. Did it all over with second adhesive and it fell also. I live in FL so maybe it's the humidity??

We're not sure what the trouble would be, but we wouldn't expect it. Our outdoor line is intended to tolerate temperature changes and the highs and lows that come along with it. Can't Remove!!

I purchased the large hooks to hang lit snowflakes for the holidays. It did take a few attempts to get them to really stick. I've learned to let them sit for a few days before hanging anything but then they were great. I left 2 on my bay window to hang a Valentine decoration and when I tried to remove them the pull strips broke! Maybe they shouldn't have been left up so long. Now I can't get them off the window! They look silly with nothing on them. All the online tips I find are for people who had this problem with indoor ones. Command please reply with a solution!

Bought the large clear outdoor command hook yesterday to hang a small wreath outside the window of our door. I followed directions to mount and hung the wreath. This morning I discovered the wreath, with the hook, had fallen. I then used the extra mounting strip that came with the hook to remount the hood on the window, making sure to clean the surface area again with rubbing alcohol. I waited over an hour before hanging the wreath on the hook. Within an hour of hanging the wreath, the wreath and hook fell again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Disappointed!

Bought the medium hooks to hang a 1lb wreath. The hook and wreath fell within a few days. Bought the larger hook and followed instructions to hang. Wreath and hook fell again. Disappointed with product.

Great for all uses

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product to review and was outstandingly pleased with the performance. For weeks I have been trying to figure out a way to hang a spring wreath on my glass door without having to hang a clunky over door hook that ultimately looks bad and damages the door and seal. The Command Strip Hook was easy to use and held the weight well. This was the perfect solution at an affordable cost.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Keeps falling

I bought three packets two weeks ago to hang five wreaths on the front windows and different ones keep falling to the ground. I've made sure repeatedly to keep putting them up following the directions but, as some others have said, the sticky tab remains on the window and the hook continues to fall off. I'm beyond frustrated. Was hoping this was my year to not have to have hangers out the tops of the windows. I love all other Command products on walls and tile around the inside of the house.

Did not stay on the window

We have been trying since Sunday to hang our wreaths on the window, we cleaned with the alcohol, let dry, and followed directions. On purpose we didn't hang the wreaths till several hours after we did the installation of the hooks giving it plenty of time to set up. We have purchased approximately 15 packages for our wreaths. Not very happy we are out the money and no wreaths on the windows.
