Thought they were great

We buy them to hang pictures since my husband dose not want nails in the wall. Couple times pictures have fallen down. Most recent left a bare spot! I thought walls were painted but I guess they were not. Did I buy wrong ones. I thought they were safe on wallpaper?

Great kit for getting pictures up faster

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this about a month ago before our move and my walls were looking bare, we are renting and came across this kit. What a difference it made getting things on the wall to liven up the place.

5 Different hanging methods

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received this 15 pak to review. Had the fun and easy experience of using. The one choice was for pictures with a wire back...read instructions and how easy to hang. Wire slipped right into the notch. The other choice was for frames with a saw tooth, again , after applying, the saw tooth slipped right in notch. No more holes in my walls.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this kit as a product tester for 3M in exchange for an honest review. I have to tell you, I absolutely LOVE this product! It is an amazing little kit that can quickly help you decorate a large wall or small room. All of these products are great for renters, as they truly do come off with ease. My favorite thing in the kit is the 3M Command Picture Hanging Strips, as they are like velcro and you can stick them to the back of frames to hang them. That way you can easily take the frames down to change out images without wasting any strips. Genius!!! This kit has awesome stuff, so if you are getting started decorating a room or new place and aren't sure if you will need to make changes or whatnot, I highly recommend it. Wonderful it you are new to Command brand products and want to try them out, as well. A+!

Is plastic case recyclable?

Good product but I am surprised that a progressive, intelligent company like 3M does not provide this product in a recyclable case- and if it is recyclable, it should show it with the recycle symbol.

We have moved into a new flat where we are not allowed to use nails so I purchased a 3 or 4 pack of hooks. The metal clip. we used one for the washing machine lid, this works well considering it is stuck to metal. We used another one on the wall to hang our very light clock - made of plastic and like others quite a few hours later we hear a crash. Our clock is in bits but thankfully able to be connected back together. We didn't follow the specs but after reading other reviews I am skeptical but will purchase another product to hang our photos. The frames are wooden and quite heavy so will see how that goes and follow the specs explicitly but where on earth do you purchase the alcohol product and do they sell it in half cup measures cos we wouldn't use a whole bottle. Seems a waste.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Whether at home, office or at the dorm, Command adhesives allows us to be free in our decorating without worrying about damage or repair! This kit is a bargain for the price considering you can hang up to 15 different types or items with it. I was so pleased when 3M sent me a sample for review. Note the *up to* and review the back of the package because some of the items required four hangers to handle the indicated weight and that reduces the number to 12. My frames were much lighter than the 16 pounds the heaviest hangers were rated for so I could use only two without trouble. I particularly like the four sets of poster hangers which are great for party decorations and the kid's rooms where posters come and go more quickly than other "art". The five pound hook worked great for an electric clock. I have removed hangers in place for ten years and they still held until I pulled the release and they came up cleanly.
