Is plastic case recyclable?

Good product but I am surprised that a progressive, intelligent company like 3M does not provide this product in a recyclable case- and if it is recyclable, it should show it with the recycle symbol.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We have moved into a new flat where we are not allowed to use nails so I purchased a 3 or 4 pack of hooks. The metal clip. we used one for the washing machine lid, this works well considering it is stuck to metal. We used another one on the wall to hang our very light clock - made of plastic and like others quite a few hours later we hear a crash. Our clock is in bits but thankfully able to be connected back together. We didn't follow the specs but after reading other reviews I am skeptical but will purchase another product to hang our photos. The frames are wooden and quite heavy so will see how that goes and follow the specs explicitly but where on earth do you purchase the alcohol product and do they sell it in half cup measures cos we wouldn't use a whole bottle. Seems a waste.

Hung a picture frame that weighed 2.8 lbs. Followed directions to spec, and picture frame fell at 2 am damaging my kitchen cabinets.
Now stuck paying to get it fixed.

Failed to do the Job it advertised

I bought this product because I just had my kitchen redone and I did not want to damage my brand new walls, and I trusted the brand. I used the product to hang a lightweight picture, following all the directions. Two days later I heard a loud crash and discovered that not only had my frame broke but the act of the picture falling left a huge chip in my brand new wainscoting. This kitchen is only two months old. I am very upset by the damage and disappointed in the product. My kitchen would have suffered less damage had I used a nail and hammer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Mistake/Suggestion

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My mistake is that I toss out the various packages that hold Command sawtooth or other picture/art hangers....and then I don't know the weight capacity of the strips that I have.
My suggestion is that Command print on the labels of the strips what the weight capacity is for that product.

Holds pictures firmly, leaves no marks, no holes and no paint rips! I use this all thru my home! I LOVE IT! We're happy and so are the landlords! THANKS FOR A GREAT PRODUCT! HANDS DOWN THE BEST!

WORST PURCHASE EVER!!!!

I bought this because it stated it could hold frames and had a variation of sizes. Well I hang my pictures at 8pm and 10pm I hear a CRASH... the CRASH WAS 3 brand new frames feel and BROKE!!!! All my hard work and time wasted because this product failed to do the job it advertised.
