I love these little letter openers. They perform like a champ! And the price is such that once one starts getting dull - which takes quite a long time - it's very inexpensive to replace.

Basically it is quite good. The only problem is that the tip should be shorter which would allow the blade to travel completely to the opposite side of the envelope. Because the tip is full length while the blade is only a fraction of the length the plastic tip point travels to the other side of the envelope before the blade gets there. The tip is then stopped from because it hits the envelope wall. Because the tip is stopped by the envelope wall the blade cannot cut this part of the envelope which means that the user has to do the extra work to make sure that the envelope has been completely open. Still for the amount it costs the Letter Opener is value for money.
