Does what it's supposed to do & more!

I use it for anything that needs to be opened including shipping tape on boxes purchases that arrive in plastic bags - it nice because you know that you are not cutting into the items inside of the packages. I never buy only one packet I keep a backup - it's easy to do because they are inexpensive quality for the cost. When opening envelopes don't insert too deeply into the envelope it causes the paper to bunch up or get stuck in the blade.

Paper sometimes get caught on the blade and makes opening a letter hard. If not careful it's easy to cut the content in the envelope.
