Quick and easy just make sure you don't include contents of envelope in the blade. The blade does get dull and you end up ripping the envelope open with the pointer. After awhile you get frustrated and then buy another set but for the price it's not bad.

Great Product for the price

I got my first pack of these over 4 years ago and am just now experiencing a little dullness on the one I use the most often (every single day). No reason to spend more for a fancy letter opener this one works great. Also very easy to find in my desk drawer!

Great in the kitchen!

These little things are divine! I must have 10 or 12 of them about the house: 1 on my desk one on the mail table and so forth. But where it really comes in handy is in the kitchen! You wouldn't believe how useful these things are for snapping open protective seals slicing open plastic bags and so forth. I attached one to my knife block with a bit of Velcro so it's always handy right where I usually grab cutting utensils. LOVE them!
