Staples letter openers are well designed easy to use. Sharp blade slices easily through even recycled paper. A small but significant item. Thanks!

This letter opener is easier to use than the high priced ones. Many others seem to get snagged inside the envelope and the tearing process becomes a major chore. Sometimes I think people look at letter openers as status symbols - much like a bookcase of books that you never read. When it comes to simplicity and cutting open the envelope with the least amount of excess paper tearage this is the only letter opener anyone needs.

We use the >letter opner" to cut snarls on our dog. A Coton has real hair and will knot up even when combed on a regular basis

Inconsistent quality. I've bought these before and never had a problem. The new one works worse than the old one that I threw away.

A friend from Baltimore recommended this envelope opener. On the way home from work in Annapolis I stopped by Staples to purchase. We're using the product every day at our home near DC. Word gets around!

I use this thing all the time as I have a lot of mail to open every day and it is so much easyer with this little gizmo. Its does get dull rather quickly[$]
