The design allows for quick oppening of any envelope flap. The sharp point allows it to start in the smallest opening. The sharp blade is angled just right for a smooth stroke. This is 500% better than the [...] offering and cheaper.

I use it for opening all my mail. It was a two-pack so my wife has one also. I keep it on my table with my computer and other paperwork. It's large enough and colored so it's easy to find and to use. The blade is razor sharp and does a super job. I have no negatives about it. Thank you for making my daily tasks a little easier.

needs a better quality plastic covering

If used improperly the hard plastic breaks exposing the blade and the user to danger.
