invaluable for wrapping presents

Not sure why it's called a "letter opener". I bought it to cut wrapping paper for Christmas and it worked perfectly! Saves time makes clean straight cuts with little effort and was so easy to use. I guess for the next 11 months I'll use it to open envelopes but next December it'll be back in gift wrapping mode!

this letter opener works quickly smoothly ...I bought several so that I can always find one quickly. It's just very easy to use. My favorite letter opener ...it works better than any others I have used.

Simple essential mail item

This is one item that I cannot do without. I open a lot of mail and I need something that will open the letters quickly and cleanly. On a lot of items of this type the guide bar is too thick to go into the envelope easily. This one goes in with little effort. My only complain although a small one is that it's a bit expensive for a simple piece of plastic with a razor blade and that gives staples free advertising. Other than that I have no problems with it at all.

Light easy to use letter opener

We keep this compact letter opener in the car's console. We pick up the mail on the way out and use this compact product to open the letters with tearing the envelopes. I prefer it to the traditional knife-style opener.
