The good reason behind why we buy so many of these is that they are small easy to use and store. The bad part of why we have to buy so many is because the blade does not last longer than a couple of months. We open tons of mail daily and I would recommend it to any one who needs a small letter opener. I would not recommend it to anyone who does not want to replace letter openers more than a few times a year.

We hired a new person and needed to set up his work space. All the rest of us in the office have letter openers that we received as give-aways at trade shows. I didn't know that you could actually buy these nice sharp easy-to-use letter openers except in bulk for promotions. So I was very pleased to find this product at our local Staples store. Bought it opened it used it. It works. Hooray. Always nice to find a small but useful product that makes our daily work just a little bit easier.
