Heavy duty high capacity shredder

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very nice and well made shredder. It easily cut through the paper and cards that I put through it. The bin is huge! It holds so much paper. You can shred tons before you have to empty it. The bin tips out making it easy to empty. The shredder is in my bedroom and rolls easily out of the way when it wasn't being used. It has a great safety feature that requires you to slide the lid back to use it. It is clearly marked where you place cards and discs if you want to shred those. It is actually not very loud. It definitely isn't any louder than others shredders I have used before. I really enjoyed using this machine. My only complaint is that the lid is very heavy. If you are in the market for a shredder I highly recommend it.

Best shredder I have ever owned

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This shredder is the BEST one I have ever owned. As someone who owns a small business I shred a lot of papers weekly. This shredder is perfect for a small business. It has wheels and can easily be moved around. It has a run time of 30 minutes and can shred 20 pages as a time. If you have a lot of shredding to do that is super fast. It shreds everything super tiny almost like confetti. I was actually thinking of making my own confetti to shove in balloons by shredding construction paper. It has a nice big bin to collect the shreds as well. Since it shreds very small it takes a while until you have dump out the bin. It does let you know when the bin is full. Surprisingly it’s pretty silent for a shredder of this size. I was expecting it to be much louder. I love how you can shred without having to worry about staples or paper clips. It even shreds cds and credit cards. My kids tried both just out of curiosity and it shredded them easily. I really like this shredder. If you shred a lot of papers I would recommend this shredder.

The Best Shredder

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is legitimately the best shredder I've ever used! The shredder was easy to set up it just needed to be plugged in! It also came with a lubricating sheet. I love that the shredding mechanism is covered when not in use especially as a mom to a toddler and cats. Also we receive a significant amount of mail that has personal information that I don't want to place into our recycling bins so I love the small shred size which helps with protecting my family's identity. It also has a large bin which allows me to empty it when I'm ready instead of needing to stop midway to dump it like other shredders I've owned. I also love that the shredder has casters so that it can be moved to different parts of our home easily so that my husband and I can shred documents as needed. I didn't know I could be so passionate about a shredder but 10/10 will shred again!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This shredder just works well! It can feed up to 10 sheets at a time which comes in handy! I work from home and accumulate quite a bit of sensitive information that needs to be eventually shredded. The micro cut is perfect for security as the pieces are so tiny. It has a window in the bin area where you can see how full it is. The bin is a decent size and easy to pull out to empty. I keep it under my desk where it is out of the way until needed. The wheels make it so easy to roll out. Noise level isn't too bad if used during the daytime but can be noticed by other members during quieter evening hours.

The Best Shredder I Have Ever Used

As someone who handles a significant amount of paperwork for work and has a personal stash at home I can confidently say that this shredder is a game-changer. It's a phenomenal piece of machinery that has taken the hassle out of shredding making it a breeze to dispose of sensitive documents and personal papers. What truly sets this shredder apart is its incredible versatility. It can shred not only standard papers but also paperclips and even standard staples! This is a huge plus for me as I used to spend so much time carefully removing these items from files before shredding them. With this shredder I can simply toss the papers in and let it do the work. I love that it shreds credit cards too! The bin is enormous holding a staggering amount of shredded material. And the best part? The shredder does such an amazing job that the remnants are basically confetti-like in their fineness. I feel confident shredding and forgetting about it knowing that my sensitive documents are securely disposed of. I'm also impressed by the sleek black design and the fact that it's easy to roll around. This is a huge bonus for office environments where multiple people may need to access the shredder but can't each have their own. It's compact yet powerful making it a valuable addition to any workspace. In contrast my previous paper shredder was a constant source of frustration. It would either get clogged or the bin would fill up too quickly forcing me to resort to just tear papers by hand. But with this shredder I've never had to deal with those issues. It's reliable efficient and has made my life so much easier. In fact I'm so impressed with this shredder that I'm now wanting atleast one for my home use and have recommend it to my coworkers and family. I highly recommend it!

I am pleased to say that the shredder I acquired surpassed all expectations!! Junk mail and sensitive documents have never been more fun to get rid of! First and foremost the initial impression was wow gorgeous! its sleek design blended seamlessly into my office space but its weightiness instilled confidence in its durability. Careful a little heavy but for good reason. The efficiency was unparalleled; it devoured documents with ease handling even the thickest stacks without a hiccup. I did get one stack stuck but that’s because I overloaded it. Anything else it’s shred through seamlessly! The document and bin capacity were beyond satisfactory alleviating the need for frequent emptying. My old shredder was so frustrating to use because I was constantly emptying it. This one doesn’t give me an issue. My old one also shred in linear formation which I felt was not safe or effective. This shredder shreds in tiny pieces. The small shred size provided a sense of security ensuring sensitive information was thoroughly destroyed. Both myself and my five-year-old son utilized the shredder effortlessly under supervision of course. It found its place in a special cabinet in my office alongside my printer perfectly complementing my workspace. In conclusion this shredder proved to be a reliable asset to my professional and household needs offering efficiency ample capacity ease of use and enhanced security.

Effective micro cuts and works quickly

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What was your overall impression of this shredder? How efficient was it? What did you think of the document and bin capacity? How many people used this shredder? Where did you keep it? How easy was it to use? What did you think of the shred size? I received this Staples brand 150 sheet micro cut shredder and immediately started using it. My husband is adamant that we do not throw away anything that has our names and address on it. He usually saves it up and burns it but spring in the desert means high winds and high fire danger so no burning. This shredder arrived just in time! I had an old box full of mail and magazines that needed to go away! This shredder handled everything we threw at it. We put through regular mail magazines that we ripped apart plastic cards about the thickness of credit cards and pretty much anything else that we could find. We literally sat in our kitchen (which is where we unboxed the shredder and found the nearest plug) for two hours and got rid of our burn box and whatever else we could find. We had one problem when we first put in a magazine and it was just too thick. It jammed up about a quarter of the way in. We were able to reverse it and pull the magazine out. From there we ripped the magazine apart into smaller sections and it went through just fine. The issue was resolved quickly. The only other issue I had was that we struggled to get it to turn on when we needed it another time. It turns out that the center piece that you would lift up to clear a jam was not fully in place and the machine would not turn on because of that. Once it was snapped back into it's correct spot the machine would power on. I would have preferred that the machine still power on but give me some type of error or other hint as to what could fix the problem instead of making me spend 10 minutes fiddling with everything else before we figured it out.

Awesome capacity and secure document shredding

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This shredder is a beast—it can handle a lot of paper and it shreds it into very small pieces. the four of us who have used it at the office were impressed with the speed capacity and precision of the shredding. It’s not quiet but for the size of the shredder I was impressed that the noise wasn’t nearly as loud as I expected. The shredder is very user friendly easy to setup and has a viewer that is probably to keep track of how much is in the bin but it was also fun to watch the document destruction.
