Nice player, but can't play AVCHD (.mts or .m2ts)

Pros:
1) Very nice player. Upconversion is great
2) Internet TV features are excellent. Video using netflix are the best.
3) This is so far the best Blue-ray (non-3D) in the market now.

Cons:
1) This is very critical. It can't play (even see) AVCHD format (.mts or m2ts format). Sony, Canon, JVC uses this format for for their HD camcorders. Now, if somebody is using those camcoreders, he has to either convert to mp4 or write to DVD, to play those video by this player. And this is very painful.
2) It is advertised as 'AllShare', but truely it not. It can only connect to shared pc folders through Samsung Application 'Smasung PC manage'. It cannot see to any network drive or drive connected to networked media player. Also, if an external HD is connect to it by USB, it is vissible to any other media devices.

Great product, easy set-up very dependable. Excellent picture, once you buy this blue-ray you will never go back to regular dvd players.

No facebook; The website mentioned it; Could not get YouTube subscriptions to work (this worked just fine on the Sony); PC Share Manager worked like a champ!!

Impatient with hardware that is difficult to set-up, I was very happy with the ease getting this item to function. Down loads from Netflix produce superb picture and sound. Pandora works extremely well as does access to news and weather. Highly recommend this product!

This is my first blu-ray player, and so far I love it. It plays all the files and disk I use. The share folder function is a big selling point. After network update, everything seems to be working well.

I just purchased this Blu-Ray player to go with my new high-def TV, and am very happy with it. The quality is great on both Blu-Ray and regular DVD's. Easy to use, excellent quality - very satisfied overall.
