The only thing that works in the Netflix App and the actual DVD player. The rest worked for about 4 months. Now it just times out when trying to get into the other apps, or the main page where you can get more apps.
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations, does not work properly
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Its simple to use and have great features...........
I would highly recommend this player to anyone who wants Blue-Ray but does not have a lot of money to spend on a player. It has worked great and it offers online access. Very cool!
This is a great player. The only negative is that it takes a while to play the DVD.
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight
I would recommend this to a friend!

What happened to Samsung quality?

I bought this because of a review in Consumer Reports. There are many things lacking in this player. 1) You can't stop watching a movie and expect to resume at the same location where you stopped. 2) there is no Amazon.com app to watch their instant videos. 3) the startup time is ridiculously long. 4) network connectivity over wi-fi is very difficult to set-up. I've had to manually reconnect several times. Plus you can only connect with Samsung's expensive wi-fi dongle
Pros: Lightweight
Cons: Did not meet expectations, no amazon.com app, slow startup, no resume function, proprietary wi-fi dongle
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I got Netflix and I'm enjoying watching movies with good quality pictures and sound on my Samsung blu-ray DVD Player.
Firmware & S/W updates slow in coming I was hopping that with the upgrades some of my issues would have been resolved, but not to be at this time of review, IE; slow load times particularly with Blu-ray disks and only recognises Blu-ray disks 1/3 of the time, especially from Netflix Blu-ray disks (they have had to resend the same titles 3 and 4 times to get one to work) and not just Netflix but other rental and retail Blu-ray disks. Blu-ray, streaming and DVD's seems to do much better. Slow to market with app icons. My impression is that after the first 6 months of the product launch it's on to the next release, so if your buying anything Samsung sure your getting the latest and greatest.
