Excellent on all levels

Excellent quality, price and value. Excellent customer service. It is very easy to get to a live person. The representatives are very patient, polite, knowledgable and helpful. I purchased this because of the excellence of the other samsung products I have purchased and their excellent customer service representatives.

Simple But Easy Blu-Ray Player

I have used the BC-C550 for 6 months. For an easy to use, low cost device, it is perfect. It boots fast, has a reasonable number of online applications (N.B., it could use more), and seemingly does its job. In a word it delivers. Two wishes: more apps and channels to choose from and better universal remote integration.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: too few online apps

Bluray Player

Player is very loud and has a tendency to lock up and has lots of problems loading blue-ray video. Apps seem to work ok hulu is a little slow and netflix is as well, but the work ok for the most part. Mine has been having problems with dvd's and blue-rays. I get freezing and lockup issues with new blue-rays and some dvds. Have tried all new firmware updates with no avail. I would be much happier if this could be fixed.
Pros: Inexpensive
Cons: Did not meet expectations, loud, freezes, slow
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It workED fine

It worked fine for the first couple of weeks then it installed new firmware and then it just stopped working like it was suppose to.
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations

Good product for price

I have had my player for almost a year now and the graphics are so crystal clear, the player is very easy to navigate and it cost half the price of a player of equal quality. My only real complaint is that it can be slow loading and it has began to turn off on it's own when I am watching a Blu-ray but Samsung is working with me to repair it so the waranty is another plus. I can say Samsung products are top quality and well worth the money you will spend on them.
Pros: Inexpensive, Realistic color
Cons: keeps turning off on it's own, keeps opening on it's own

love the touch buttons on the product. easy to use and surround sound is wonderful. husband loves the i-pod dock that comes with the blue-ray.

I have now had my Blue ray for 8+ months and the features and apps are stellar. Great product. So many items to choose from and wifi connection is the BEST feature of all. Makes my 42" HDTV look cinematically beautiful.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight
