LIVES UP TO SAMSUNG REPUTATION! I WILL ONLY OWN SAMSUNG. ONLY PROBLEM, DONT LIKE THE DISC DOOR/TRAY. SAMSUNG NEEDS TO MAKE IT LIKE THE SONY PS3 AND HAVE NO TRAY.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight

No HD on RBG output

Has 480i output only on RGB RCA really miss this output

My Blu-ray Disc™ Player (BD-C5500) is kool...!!!
the features , like touch sensitive face controls, and a fully, easy to use in the dark, Remote control.. keeps me smiling almost a year after my purchase!
blu-ray disks play with a wonder-filled ease and my older DVD's NEVER skip a beat!!

The Samsung "link stick," streams off my laptop through the Blu-ray Player (BD-C5500) and the FLASH DRIVE port is easy to get-to, and great to use for many formats..
The cost, over value, as with many of my Samsung devices, is Fantastic!!
i gave it 5 STARS ***** i would give it 6,stars, but that would be cheating..
LOVE IT!!!!

The apps expand the unit's capabilities. I did not opt for wireless although I wish I did. The interface has been improving with software updates. Honestly I don't use it a ton as I stream a lot of my stuff but the loading of some discs can take some time. If i watched a lot of movies I might be annoyed.
Pros: Realistic color

Playing a DVD on this player really enhances the picture quality of my TV. I use it for playing my CDs, no problems there.
