Great Player, with a poorly designed disc tray......

We really enjoy the fact that our Samsung T.V. works in harmony with our Samsung BluRay Player. When we turn on the T.V. and select device "BD Player" the BD Player automaticly comes on and allows us to access either on-line programs, or watch a cd,dvd, or BluRay disc! On the down side..... Disc tray is a poor design. Disc cannot be grabed from the sides like on a regular disc tray. You must stick your finger in the center hole and hope (while lifting it off of the tray) that the disc does not fall on the floor!
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, automatic firmware updates, sync's with new samsung t.v.'s, semi-unified remote
Cons: Did not meet expectations, poor disc tray design, sometimes will not automaticly play a disk.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I like the remote features because of easy selection buttons. Good product for the money.

OVERALL GOOD, DOOR STICKS SOMETIMES AND HAD OTHER PROBLEM THAT SAMSUNG WAS WILLING TO FIX, BUT I FIXED IT.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Not the best one cos everytime it needs to update it will take a while like several hours, i used to like renting movies from Cinema now, not available since the last update.
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight
Cons: Did not meet expectations, very slow to update
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Excellent DVD Player but door a little flimsy

I have had this over a year with no issues. The onlyu thing i would complain about is the door that has the Samsung logo is a little flimsy. My dog bumped into it as was loading a DVD and the door broke off. It still works great sans door.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Realistic color, Lightweight

I use it for DVDs, Blu-Rays, and Netflix. The Netflix app was super easy too use. Too cool!

Was Great At First, But Now....

I thought this product was great when I first purchased it, but now I'm totally not happy with it at all. It will not play all Blu-Ray movies, and even when you download the latest firmware software, it still does not work. It plays all DVD's with no problem, but most of my Blu-Ray, I cannot enjoy now. Not happy with this at all, and wish Samsung would fix this, because I understand its an issue with other people as well.
Pros: Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color
Cons: Did not meet expectations
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
