Good basic Blu-ray with Connectivity
I bought this player at the end of the model year. The next models coming out had features I wouldn't be using.
Easy hook up with many ways to connect to other devices.
Internet connection has been flawless.
Anynet feature is good.
Small footprint, stacks just about anywhere.
Some remote control button locations differ from television remote, but not a big hassle. Remote has good range and will work through a glass cabinet door.
Software updates quickly and has never caused a problem.
Could use more memory, but this is a basic model.

The reason I bought this product was because I could use it to watch Hulu and not have to sit at my computer. It has a tendency to lock up when "loading" the next segment after a break and it is very frustrating.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight

My First Blu

I was excited to get home with my first Blu-Ray player. I had no idea, watching blu-ray discs was not the only thing this awesome machine would do for me! Streaming netflix is the easiest function with this player. Having a USB port has allowed me to access so many more of my files!
I love this machine, have had it a year and would buy it again in as heart beat!
Pros: feature heavy
I would recommend this to a friend!

I purchased this item refurbished and for the price I could not have gone wrong. Great features and playback. Some Apps are slow on the Network, specially streaming video apps.
However Netflix, Hulu and Vudu work great and in HD.

Wonderful Blue Ray

Great blue ray unit. Easily connects and simple enough for my 3 year old grandson to operate. Bought this one because my 3D unit worked so well. This unit loads the disk and is ready to play quickly. I have a Sony unit as well and I can say that I will have watched the first 10 minutes of the movie while the Sony unit is still loading. This was a great buy.
Pros: Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight

Nice Design, matches well with the 8000 series tv's the web functionality is redundant due to the tv. like the electro static buttons, a little slow to load some but not all blue ray dvd's

I needed to get a new DVD player. I did a lot of research then decided, for my needs, this was the product. I had no experience with all of the network features so it wasn’t a priority in the selection process. Got it home, hooked it up to both my TV and the internet. I started looking at the other features. This DVD player will pay for its self many times over just using the internet connect to access content. Now, other than live sports, I believe I could disconnect my cable…. I much prefer movies over reality shows….
