Maximizes connectivity

I have been wanting a BluRay player for a while. I purchased this refurbished model because I have confidence in the product line, and especially the Samsung product quality.
Along with providing the HD detailed DVD experience, this player contains the Smart Apps access to internet features like VUDU, Netflix, Pandora, and numerous other on-line multimedia applications. It is the perfect addition to my "stand alone" 1080p monitor puchased when internet access technology was not available.
I highly recommend this BluRay player, and in general, the Samsung product line

It does want it is intended to do but does not have the apps I had on my Sony, otherwise a good product.
Pros: Inexpensive
Cons: does not have apps

This has to be one of the best blu-ray players I've seen. The only problem is that there is no built in wifi receiver and you can only use samsung's receiver. I love the web apps fuature.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color

blue ray what do you expect, better than dvd . Certainly sound wise image wise it's all better. Don't like the design.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Realistic color
Cons: Did not meet expectations

Easy to set up, my TV has most of the same stuff but for someone without a smart tv this is almost a must have.
