Product worked well for a few months - then stopped connecting to Netflix and other on-line streaming services.
Pros: Inexpensive, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: Did not meet expectations, does not work for internet functions-don't buy.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Has been fully reliable since I first purchased it. Updates have generally been painless. Haven't encountered the problem with firmware incompatibility I ran into with my first Blu Ray player.
Pros: Durable, Lightweight, minimal contact buttons
Cons: relatively expensive at time of purchase
I would recommend this to a friend!

I usually like Samsung's products, but, it seems like I got a lemon with this product.
I started having problems with the disc loader not wanting to open almost right away.
6 months later, I can't get this Blue-Ray player to play ANY disc. I get an error message that says, "Can't load disc" and it spits it back out.
Third, This player does not have built in wireless. I bought a wireless USB stick for it and wasted hours of my time trying to get it working with this player, only to find out a prioprietary wireless USB is needed. I wish I would have bought the Sony with the wireless built in instead of this player.
Pros: Lightweight
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not the same quality as other Samsung products. Too slow, not enough memory, Internet@TV difficult to work with.

The player had everything I was looking for and more

My old blu-ray player was acting up so I went shopping to replace it. I had decided to match the players brand name to the television this time instead of choosing one by word of mouth. This Samsung blu-ray player seemed to be a perfect match for my Samsung LN52850 tv. They work seamlessly together and the extra features found in the blu-ray player are just amazing. I am very happy with the results so far, although I must say as of this writing the player is only a month old.
Pros: Inexpensive, loaded with features
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Player, but my remote stopped working and Samsung has been great helping me out with my TV's. However, I can find a replacement for the remote everywhere except on Samsung's Site. Other than that it's been great.
Pros: Inexpensive, Realistic color
