Got this model as a gift . It is a little slow loading,but is worth the wait. Blu-Ray is awesome !!!. One thing I had to do was a firmware upgrade so we could watch "The King's Speech". It seems that Blu-Ray technology will be evolving over time, so make sure you register you product and KEEP the owner's manual.It is also backward compatible (plays standard DVD's). My only regret is that it didn't come with the LinkStick for Wireless connection.
Pros: Inexpensive, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: linkstick is not included.

I really enjoy my blue ray. It's really easy to use and the quality is excellent. I wish they would make a more compact player so it's not 17" long. All in all I do like the player.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight

Great size excellent picture quiet running. Very easy to set up and the WIFI works seamlessly with my on line accounts, Fits very easlier with my Samsung LCD.

Overall, this product has good features. The design could be a little better. It runs great and the quality is great. The display is good quality and the menu is easy to navigate. I would recommend this to friends.

Very noisy and very slow

The optical drive inside this Bluray player is just plain noisy. It's extremely loud when searching for tracks on the disk. It's also loud when the disk is spinning. And the disk will spin 100% of the time as long as it is in the player, even when you are watching streaming Netflix.
And it's slooow. It takes forever for this player to find a track on the disk. It's also very slow to respond to actions like Rewind or Fast Forward.
Cons: too noisy, too slow
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
