great bang for the buck

The blu-ray movies are awesome and the up-conversion is excellent. I really havent noticed a long load time either. Been watching Netflix for a couple weeks and it streams great with DSL.
Pros: Inexpensive, easy setup
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is my first Samsung purchase and am happy with my choice. Easy setup and use. The LAN adapter is a little pricey. I recommned ethernet for maximum quality for streaming. I would consider another Samsung product for future purchases

The Blu-ray player glitches, and freezes a lot when playing discs, both Blu-rays and DVDs.
Cons: Did not meet expectations

don't buy this one if you want good apps. samsung is so far behind with adding apps to this model, just skip up to the next few, do your research if you want good apps to watch tv shows like hulu/hulu plus. you can't on this one and for some reason all they have are these stupids apps that are pointless.
Pros: Realistic color
Cons: Did not meet expectations, inefficient apps

Good product but could be better. It's not wireless capable, so if you're looking to upgrade like I am you will have your work cut out. If you stop the movie and turn off next time you turn it on movie will start from the beginning so set a bookmark. If you want more features spend some more money on a better model.

Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations, not wireless ready, difficult to upgrade without wired internet

The BD-C5500 is a great player for an inexpensive amount. It is quiet, light and slender - making it easy to fit in my entertainment unit. So far I have no complaints and am a happy customer.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Lightweight
